Cong may setup up Cong-JDS govt in Karnataka
by Ramazz A on May 26, 2008 09:34 PM  Permalink

Remeber that Cong has 80 seats, JDS 28 seats= 108.
Plus out of the 6 independants, 4 are congress rebel candidates which makes it total 112.
Unless BJP can pay crores of rupees and hoodwink one of the these congressman, they will have to sit in the opposition.

Why Congress (islamic) is pro muslim and anti Hindu.
by Singha on May 26, 2008 05:23 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

muslim population of india ~ 15-20%%
muslim votes as % of total votes ~ 30 - 40%
(Hindu voting ~ 40%, muslim voting ~ 90-100%)

future muslim population ~ 25-30%
(0-15 age group, muslim population today which will become future population)
muslim votes as % of total votes ~ 50-60%. India turns islamic - congress (islamic) will remain permanently in power.

If Hindus dont take over and do massive conversions of muslims to hinduism during the next 30 years, India's future perhaps will turn islamic.

congress got 80 seats in karnataka only because muslims voted big time for congress. But for muslims, congress seats would not have crossed 20

Wake up call
by Nitin Gupta on May 26, 2008 12:27 PM  Permalink

Its a wake up call for congress that it can no longer rule the country by playing divide and rule politics. They tested themselves just after the OBC reservation, and people have slapped them to their dismay. Its time for "real secularism". "Long live democracy".

Karnataka Election
by Venkata ramakrishna Anumula on May 26, 2008 11:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In telugu there is a saying. "Cherapakuraa chedevu, oragakuraa padevu". This proved to be prudent for Mr. Devegowda & sons Pvt Ltd who are selfish to the core and hypocrites of secularism. To get power to son, father distanced him on the first instance, at the time of relinquishing power, he did all unethical what he can do for his son not caring for state, country, public and public money. Please God give some wisdom to the great old principled politician by eradicating his greed.

Triumps for the BJP lone party fighting for all - equality for wall
by Shivaram Shenoy on May 26, 2008 10:40 AM  Permalink

I have read in todays local newspaper that BJP won with the help of Wine, Money and so called Caste Votes. What about Congress wooing Muslim votes who are not even 7% of total population of Karnataka, What has the congress done in its previous rule spread over decades. What has the Janata Dal done for Karnataka. Both the parties had enormous leaders on the forefront of the national level.

BJP will take the support - discussion is on the way they will do that. Two BJ rebels will be back to bjp who win as ind provoide good portfolio.
Deve gawda wanted his power is in children only .
the selfish politician thought that yediyurappa will agree for that so that kumaraswamy will continue in power. Else he was planning to pull him down and planne to get help from cong and make his child CM. But did not work out and digged their own grave.

This is very obvious , Each and every news channel is saying after JDS denied the support to BJP elections held and now here are the results.

So there is nothing idiot and no question of making anybody fool. So if you feel that he is trying to make you fool, than that your understanding only.

bjp majority.
by annabhai on May 26, 2008 08:57 AM  Permalink

BJP got majority in karnataka. But not able to wipe congress. The 30 seats of JD(s) lost. cong gain 15, bjp 15. Only the others 16 seat where gone to BJP. so regional parties wiped out. cong also incresed its strenth. BJP should work ver very hard to keep it up or keep same for the next election what ever may be.

Feel sad about Kumarswamy
by on May 26, 2008 08:42 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kumaraswamy, the ex. CM were infact in favour of handing over the CM post to Mr. Yediurappa, but it's his MLA brother Revanna and ex. PM HD Devegowda who persuaded him to act insanely. Feel pity on him.

Kumarswamy can still act in right manner and make hand-shake with BJP again w/o any conditions. He can defect from JD-S with his supporter MLA's and can join the BJP, that could be a right move at this bad hours for him. And if he does it "unconditionally", then BJP to strenghten their numbers and stability of Govt should accept him and should take care of him well...respect him like a Ex. Chief-Minister.
