no, it is because South Asians have abused the asylum laws of European countries and are taking advantage of the generosity of their hosts. Specially Pakistan and Bangladesh. They are now talking of making England an Islamic republic by 2015.
So is that not something very serious and something which should be actioned immediately? Would they dare to say the same things in Saudi Arabia where such talk will get them publicly beheaded? Would they have dared to make such talk in Apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany? So they should be deported to the filth where they belong. They are lucky that the British are very tolerant and fair as a race - indeed one of the greatest races of all time.
Same for Sri Lankans who have deviled the pristine countries like Switzerland and Austria. They should be deported back to Sri Lanka.
None of the BRIC nations are ethically strong - be it Brazil, China, India or Russia. We are essentially a nation of liars, hypocrites, cheats and thieves. We are extremely racist but we call Afrikaners racist when they actually built the whole of South Africa singlehandedly.

sorry kaushik, they actually deported many south asians from south asia to western countries. Now you have to call it re-deportation.
I dont understand all this apology politics going all over the world! What difference does it make 94 years later!! Those who were on that ship are gone. Perhaps even their children are gone! The apology is seen as a "moral" victory which is the politically correct way of saying "you haven't won anything really but here is a pat on the back. Now heel Tiger heel."
Seriously can someone explain the concept behind these 100 year late apologies?

Good point. It may appear symbolic but there is also some significance of this.
There is an element of penance and justice. Something similar to convting a murderer after the murder is committed. The dead person would not get alive but the convict is still punished. Similarly here, while those victims themselves do not get anything, the apology does imply that Canadian government has "convicted" itself - accepting that it was a mistake.
As far as the practicality of such an apology is concerned, it deters similar action occuring in future.

Go and get apology from KPS Gill, he too one of the Sikh. But he did a great job by eliminating terrorism in Punjab. Who told you, i am staying in India? are you a joker ?
my mates are everywhere, i can go anywhere but my homeland is Punjab(which is part of India) and that no one can dare to stop me from going and staying there.
Thus, i feel India to be my country but India does not behave like i am its citizen. (check out your own language as well)
So if it continues, we wont hesitate to break away our homeland, Punjab from the country.
And India does not courage to stop that, 3 divisions already happened.

Sir...please do not try to evaluate history siting in the comfort of your home..if somebody permitted the nation to be didvided it was because there was no law and order mechanism then to control the gruesome killings that took away lakhs of innocent lives..reminding you what happened in gujrat in 2001 despite having a full fledged army capable of demolishng our nieghbour nations in less than 24 hours.. we should rather be proud of the fact our father of the nation went to the riot hit places withourt any Z clas security and dared to stay in the house of an old Muslim lady uin one of the most tense locations in Calcutta..sadly most of our leaders witness such incidents in choppers and television condemn the act in parliament later...
