Vijay Tendulkar was not just a great writer but but a true secular Indian. He was one of the few Maharashtrians who had the guts and character to stand up against Bal Thackeray.

how one can comment like he want to shoot a democratically elected leader.he was prostituting democracy.
Ask those who have read him, what they have lost. Ask those who have seen his plays, what they have lost. Ask those who have evolved with him as a guiding light, what they have lost. Ask those who know how rare such gems are, what they have lost.
As for those who only know sachin tendulkar, I know what they have lost .. thay have lost an opportunity to evolve into an enlightened human being.
But all is not lost .. he has left behind his legacy in the form of his writings for those who care.
Such souls never die. Just look up into the skies & u'll find one more star, shining fiercely, taking its due position up there.
