Now these so called learned ulemas understand the effect of their preeches. from so many years they are cultivating a fear in the Muslims mind that majority Hindus will kill them. they allowed their Kiths and kins to become terrorists. Now nobody is believing Muslims. though they are educated, cultured, people are looking them with suspicion.Blame it on their fate or their own mistake, today the situation is bad for muslims. they can neither go back to the mainstraeam nor stay and devoid of growth. Political parties like congress and SP have used these sentiments and got power.their programes is only for short term.

For any muslim or a christain RSS is a pain their a.. since they oppose their activities(anti national). These two religions are the worst enemies for whole humanity as thet indulge in hatred, antinational and above all in conversion by money given by alien countries. So we can understand these anti nationals can't stand the RSS activities since they highlight the anti national activities of Christians and Muslims.

Well, to be honest, this is a good move by leaders of the muslim community. It is important that muslims are educated on this subject and ensure open communication so that some of them do not get lured away.
I do believe that a large section of ordinary muslim citizens are suffering because of a few in their community, but untill recently, all muslims would only caste aspersions on others, or would be defensive stating that islam is about peace and that not all muslims are terrorists. Very few condemned the acts of terrorism and pretty much no one would accept that most terrorsts are muslims (I am not at all stating that most muslims are terrorists). But over the last 6 months, this is the second incident where muslim leaders are taking initiative and doing something to condemn terrorism and educating people in their own community. It gives a positive signal to all people that muslim leaders are serious about terrorism. Muslim leaders should also help the govt. in identifying illegal bangladeshi immigrants and help them get deported back. That would be a good thing because bangladeshi immigrants indulge in all sorts of crime all over India and indian citizens (muslims) get a bad name because of that. Further, bangladeshi muslims try and get jobs which makes indians (both hindus and muslims) suffer because we already have a lot of unemployed youth.

Being a Muslim of India I welcome your sentences also I wuold like to congratulate Imam's of UP to take initiative against terrorism. But I am having little disagreement about your second point about Bangladeshi immigrants. Believe me there is no list or something from which Imam's may know who is bangladeshi and however no muslim community in India yet have opposed to deport any Bangladeshi back to there homeland. But it is our government who like to show the world that see how big our heart is that we are giving shelter to even our enemies. It is not that difficult to track where they stay. But our governement and police are not willing to do so.

Thanks for the lines.
Two points regarding the second paragraph. I think the govt. through various committees, bodies, forums, etc have on more than 20 occassions right since 1959 (I may be getting the year slightly wrong here)have taken census / counting / reports of illegal bangladeshi immigrants. The govt.(mostly congress and left because congress has been in govt. all these years and left because they have been in bengal where infiltration is largest) has itself thwarted action on the reports for luring muslim vote bank. Today bengal has 30% muslims (from a much lesser figure earlier). I have no problems with indian muslims developing and growing and doing anything like any normal hindu, but I do have a problem with illegal infiltration - either muslim, or hindu. Muslim communities have also if not directly then indirectly harboured such people in their communittees and muslim leaders (and also leftists and some hindu politicians) have helped legitimize these immigrants. Therein lies the problem and the hence some muslim leaders in these immigration prone areas are aware to some extent about the immigrant population. I though agree with you that certainly not all leaders and certainly not all people and certainly not everywhere muslims and their leaders would be aware. Infact I am open to thinking that some of them may actually be helping the govt. in identifying immigrants. But as Indian people we all need to take pride and fish these immigrant out.
