my friend, SACHINS FATHER NAME WAS RAMESH ADN TAHTS WHY HIS FULL NAME IS SACHIN RAMESH TENDULAKER AND HE ALREADY DIES DURING WORLDCUP IN ENGLAND. TENDULAKER NAME SHOWS THE NEAME OF PLACE
For an enthusiastic writer like Tendulkarji, 80 is prime age.All his recent novels were hit. He never expected his writings like Ardh Satya and Ghashiram Kotwal to become so hit, but his publishers knew. They spared no efforts to make it a hit in the book stores and had parted with all the earnings to him only, unlike other publishers who grab the glory and vanishes with the profit. Indian literary world will miss you sir.
Vijay Tendulkar a Legend a story writer, Who can forget the "Ghashiram Kotwal" or "Ardh Satya"? When parallel cinema was nowhere coming near by the commercial cinema the story of "Ardh Satya" was so well written that it attracked the main stream viewers to watch the movie. MANTHAN is another masterpiece from him.
Sir, You'r not only the greatest living playwright but also a very bold commentrator. He always spoke his mind and without fear. Guys check out the following link. An interview with mr. Tendulkar and some great comments.
