Sachin (Ramesh) Tendulkar is son of Ramesh Tendulkar not Vijay Tendulkar who died at the age of 80.

its not only a great loss to the Marathi theatre-world but also to the entire Indian theatre whose roots were also ingrained in Tendulakar's writings that holds a face-value to the international theatre also.

This is a great loss for not just Marathi Theatre and Literature, but also to so many across the country who got exposed to this beautiful human being's works!

The three articles Rediff has presented from its archives indeed reveals what a genuine human being he was!

A fantastic playwriter. His "Sakharam Binder" and "Ghashiram Kotwal" are among world's best top 5 dramas.
