In a world order and with countries specially like China where, despite all lip-service to the contrary, ' Might Is Right' is the only doctrine that they have ever believed in, India rolling over like a docile kitten expecting its soft underbelly to be scratched occasionally to humour it will get it nowhere. Despite the diplomatic doublespeak evident in this article, for all one knows the reality may be that this 'finger-area' of land in Northern Sikkim is already under Chinese occupation. This is nothing new since during the 1962 war China acquired vast-tracts of then Indian territory which it then managed to successfully hold on to. Emboldened by the fact that India has failed to wrest back any of this territory through either force or diplomacy, they have over the intervening years made a number of successful forays and grabbed small tracts of strategic land all across the Indo-China border. There is nothing much the people of India can expect from a Government run by wimps & puppets like Manmohan Singh & incorrigible corrupts like Pranab & Arjun with moronic sphinx-like Sonia hovering like a stupefied shadow over all of them. Perhaps the only ones who see some gain in this whole scenario are people like Karat of the CPI-M. As China's land mass increases as a result of these acquisitions and India's correspondingly decreases, Karat possibly feels that a ' larger' China physically translates to a larger-than-life CPI-M in India. Ban it, and solve the problem. The more Congress pampers CPIM for remaining in power, it will loose that much nationalist space in the heartland of india, and bjp will take fullest advantage of it.
Not a single party, even Mulayam will not support CPIM on this.

We have been seeing such reports of india forgiving every mischief done by our neighbours. This congress govt. is worst ever govt. which we have had in the past. They are only worried about clinging on to the power. they dont want to annoy china because, then left will withdraw support to their govt. The communists are just enjoying power without responsibility. This is a 'Na mard' govt. headed by Dr.Manmohan singh. terroism is part of our life now thanks to the UPA govt. and communists. If we keep this govt. for some more time, only new delhi will be left with and all other parts of india already taken over by china, bangladesh and pakistan. This govt. is a serious threat to the sovereigninty of India.
