WHY NOT THE WHOLE WORLD THINK SERIOUSLY???
by GRJ on May 26, 2008 07:37 AM  Permalink

After going through all the posts one can come to the conclusion that Islam claims to be the peaceful, love filled ,humane religion.....but without destroying other places of worship, killing innocents, trying to prove others wrong they have never proved that their way of life is truly imbibed with love peace, equality even between themselves.......

Proof ....present condition of it being proved that the cause of terrorism, religious hatred, exploitation weak women etc., are highly proven factors against this so called good faith of the middle ages marrying children, widows, killing own tribesmen and dictating rules that can anyone who questions with a rational mind or wants to think rationally should be destroyed if so with what authority ??? Is it given by a king of the land or head of a house hold ???
or a tribal chief??? What is the genuineness ???

What is the use if primitive man in his evolutionary stage of becoming better human is not allowed to ev olve with rules of the game are old and obsolete for a new thinking civilization ???

It is mind boggling. Where is human race heading ???
Self destruction or better evolution ???I

a former buddhist country - afghanistan
by sushmita on May 20, 2008 04:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The STORY:

Afghanistan was a peaceful BUDDHIST country in the before 13th century AD. Many monuments, such as the famous Buddhas of Bamyan that were destroyed by the Taliban testify to the Buddhist culture in Afghanistan. 'Gandhari' from the Hindu mythology is from Afghanistan.

Today, less than 0.1% of the country is Buddhist.

THE QUESTION:
WHICH RELIGION destroyed the peaceful BUDDHISM in Afghanistan ? (100 marks)
Choices: (Tick one only)
Hinduism. Christianity. Sikhism. Islam.
For the correct answer, scroll down.

Correct Answer for the above question:
ISLAM destroyed all traces of BUDDHISM in Afghanistan. Today, 99% or more of Afghanistan is ISLAMIC. BUDDHISM has been wiped out. Their statues have been destroyed over the centuries. The few that could not be destroyed fell a few years ago. Minorities like Buddhists, Christians and Hindus were identified by a compulsory yellow cloth and mark on their houses. Ethnic cleansing similar to what we saw in Kashmir with Kashmiri Pandits from 1989 onwards was seen in Afghanistan.

Q1: Which Muslim king/ruler defeated Mongoles
Q2: Who converted Buddhists (actually Mongoles) by Force ?
Q3: When ?

Answer: All Tataris, originally are mongoles who were NOT defeated by Muslims. Infact Tataries defeated Muslims. This did not stop march of Islam, and They all became Muslims of their own.

Sushmita has easily forgotton fact that People she is talking about were not losers in war with Muslims, they were winners. Yet they Embraced Islam. So is Islam is to be blamed

AS USUAL, Islam haters are afflicted with mental desease that does not allow them see facts correctly

Why didnt the Sadhus simply curse?
by Gautam Sinha on May 19, 2008 12:52 PM  Permalink

If Sadhus are really Sadhus and not political stooges of Katiyar, they should have cursed the perpetrators and wrong doers so even if police couldn't catch them, they would be punished and maybe detected!!

Export communists to Bangladesh.
by ananth K on May 19, 2008 10:02 AM  Permalink

For every illegal bangladeshis, we should export one communist to bangladesh to keep the balance.

If we leave one Bangladeshi, he/she may compete for the resources with the billion plus indians.
But if we leave one communist, he/she may bring many more bangladeshis and terrorists for getting vote.

Leave poor bangladeshis. Instead kill terrorist friendly politicians.

Not enough. Should take guns
by ananth K on May 19, 2008 09:58 AM  Permalink

Any protest is waste against this cowardly regime.

People should take guns and kill terrorist friendly congis and commies. These pseudo secular politicians are more dangerous than terrorists. They are the root cause for disrupting the communal harmony by appeasing one over the other.

Both are just 2 different types of cancers.

Not a Wrong Step!!!
by Manu on May 19, 2008 07:36 AM  Permalink

Its a perfectly right step in the direction of highlighting the "dangers of terrorism to humanity" in general. Terrorists are the destroyers of humanity and find solace in some "comfortably lifted" religious quotes. Terrorism must be thwarted to let a society to live in peace, and the effort must be worldwide. Nothing wrong if Sadhus join the efforts against terrorism.

The most tolerant society is being tested for its tolerance, it will take only a short while when Hindus will join against terrorism to defeat it. Terrorism and its supporters must be wiped out of this world.

A Rapid Action force in each state working in tandem with CCTV cameras is the best way to combat terrorism
by Vishnu Sharma on May 19, 2008 07:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Also We need to closely monitor all calls made on all cellphones.

We may need a force of 10 million specially trained troops to combat this menace.

We many need to have intelligence agents pose as muslims and penetrate mosques and muslim gatherings.

The Rapid Action force needs to be equipped with Jeeps, Motorcycles, Trucks, Communications equipment and helicopters.

This Same force can also be used to combat the Naxalite menace.

The CCTV cameras have to be well disguised and there should be backup cameras which take pictures in case the main camera is attacked and destroyed by the terrorists.

If a camera is attacked it should sound off an alarm which should immediately bring reinforcements to the spot including helicopters within 5 minutes.

Finally it is the duty of vigilant citizens to call the RAF headquarters if they see anything suspicious.

I enjoin all citizens in India to use their
Cellphone cameras to click photographs of anything suspicious and relay it to the RAD headquarters in each cities.

I am pretty sure if any terrorist is apprehended by a mob while he is caught in the act of planting a bomb, there is a great chance of him being beaten to death and being hanged from the nearest lamp-post.
