democracy is way better than being ruled by a dictator ... you do not value democracy today, but will miss it if and when you lose it.

be careful what you wish for, because wishes do come true.

just read what israil did :- "Imad Mugniyah,(google this name) the leader of Hezbollah%u2019s military wing and a senior officer in Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, was killed in yesterday%u2019s car bombing in Damascus, Syria"(they could inflitrate into syria, birth place of jihad and bomb their enemy in his own style!!!)

our country resources (even our CM's personal fortunes are many times over than many countries in the world!!!) are many times over than isral.simply sitting and giving lip service!!!

there is a organisation called RAW who's agents are being bought by foriegn countries!! (recent escape of mole to US)
when a poor country like (size of some two or three states of our country) can do that much damage what the hell is the problem??

the politicians and other Babu's who eat crores of rupees think and act for a minute, the whole of pakistan terror network can be wiped out!!!!

there should be a three bombs per day in every city and attach of top bross of ISI (both retired and current)in pak.

as some one in thses coloums quoted they know only the language of terror.

when BJP was in power it happened!!! next day when we had a bombing in kashmir there will be another in pak!!! (you can check them out with old papers)

now after the bombing PM says there is someone from the blue trying stop shaking hands with pak by this bombing!!! *what a fool of an ass this sardar, want to shake hands with the people who are sending these murderors at the first place

Porkistan never won a war with India. History knows that. No proof is required. Kargil is the best example. Even with the american supplied F-16s, they can't even pluck our hair.
Retaking PoK and attacking porkistan will be SUCCESSFUL only if we have a leader like Indira Gandhi / Rajiv Gandhi. Present Congress leaders are Islamic shit lickers.
UPA government will not even hang or punish the captured militants simply for the votes of Muslims.
Atleast, in BJP rule, though we didn't get Kashmir back, we had the guts to kick their asses in Gujarat Riots.
We need more Modis to defend ourselves.

India can never defeat terrorists becos they dont know who the terrorists are.It is Modi and advani and shiv saniks who do bomb blasts and then blame muslims and try to harass muslims.
Muslims dont have time to blast places like Jaipur.

Yes absolutely.
Parliament attack, IIS, hyderabad, Coimbatore blasts, mumbai, jaipur, delhi, Godhra train garnage and all blasts are done by Hindus.
Muslims are peace loving people.
Hindus are rascals and rapists.
Even during partition, no Hindu was killed. Only innocent muslims died.

Manmohan is actually giving a strong response to pakistan ... stronger than what BJP ever did ... like vajpayee's bus ride to lahore was perceived as India's desperation for peace and resulted in infiltration in kargil.

you are just another blind BJP supporter ... always seeing bad in whatever congress does, and not knowing the BJP was a great appeaser of pakistan and muslims in general.

"strong response to Pak" --- LOL... can you give us one example of what "strong" message...?
Afzal Guru, taking away POTA, not enacting laws to tighten the claws of muslims are the "STRONG" message to Porkistanis right....?
Also his statement, "muslims have the first right to the resources of our country" will tell how "STRONG" message was sent to Porkistanis.
Only one real STRONG message was sent to Porkistan by INDIA - that is KARGIL.
If you want any more, wait till BJP comes to power. U will see more Gujarats in our country.
Now Gujarat is more peaceful / progressive than any other state in our country.

read the last line

"In America, it shouldn't be too difficult to force a war criminal to answer in a court of law. The million-dollar question is -- who will bell the cat? "

so, who will bell the cat? if there is so much credible evidence against this guy, why isn't anyone, a reporter, bandladeshi govt. or just anyone from bangladesh filing a criminal lawsuit against this guy in the USA? If there is no criminal case in a court in USA, the guy gets to remain free.

your turn.

Let me say the following after reading R Patil and John on this board
by Pankaj Mohan on May 18, 2008 07:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What John has spoken may not be denied about: That blind hatred and anger will never lead to any solution. They might only cause bare destruction, if anything. However, John fails to go through the other side of the same story. That anger with wisdom (and not blindness) is a must for man's survival. You should ensure that good mannerliness was not assumed to be your facade for inaction and cowardice.

Let me explain this further: The authorities never get any major (and voluntary) leads from the Muslim community itself, whenever investigating terror links. You won't read (in usual circumstances) any news on leads emanating against the terror modules from within the Muslim community itself. It doesn't mean they silently approve it, but the hesitation is there for sure. They may read a Friday Namaz or protest against the bomb blasts once they had taken place, but the community comes across as a clueless group beyond that lip service. Contrast this with the 2002 Gujarat riots. They occurred after a massive infringement took place in the shape of Godhra train burning by Muslims themselves. However, the whole anti-Modi campaign was built around the secularist lobby, which mainly sourced itself from the majority Hindus. The irony is the Jihadi regards this show of tolerance and compassion for others, a sign of weakness - a fact that now even the pro BJP Hindus have started to yell about as you will see them calling "to unite and fight this and that" on this board regularly :)

Anyone can send that kind of email. Have you heard of the term 'impersonation'?

God has given you something between your ears to think. Use it.
Having said, I donot deny that there are brainwashed Muslims who can be lured into terrorism but that is a result of indoctrination. Do you know that US government has funded 'research' in ways to indoctrinate Msulims to commit jihad where special recruiters are trained to prey on misguided and angry Muslim youths. One way to make Muslims angry is to keep publishing news articles about 'opression' of Muslims. You will be surprised how easy it is to get converts who are ready to blow themsleves.

This is what written in today indian express in Kulkarnis article.
No act of terror is perpetrated without a purpose. And when such acts do not remain isolated incidents but become part of a recurrent and almost endless series of attacks over an ever-expanding geographical footprint in India, it should be apparent even to the meanest intelligence that the purpose is strategic. The brains behind this low-intensity and long-drawn-out war have themselves stated that their strategic objective, by %u201Cbleeding India with a thousand cuts%u201D, is to so weaken and destabilise our country over a period of time that, ultimately, it succumbs to defeat, division and disintegration. Thereafter, the victors hope to hoist their own flag atop the Red Fort.
All this and more is recorded in the widely publicised documents of SIMI, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Hizbul-Mujahideen and other organisations that subscribe to the ideology of pan-Islamism. The Holy Koran forbids shedding of innocent blood, exhorting that the killing of even a single innocent person is like killing the entire humanity. But these merchants of death have no qualms in shedding the blood of thousands of innocent Indians in the name of jihad.

Whatever you have said is 100% true. Lets see the issue little bit broader than succumbing to emotional senses like "holy kuran" or "innocent muslims".
Everyone knows what LeT, JeM, HuJI or SIMI or any other islamic fundamental outfit are upto.
The question is - "Who is backing up these organizations?"
Answer - "Home grown Islamic Fundamentalists"
No country in the world including America has given special rights or reservation to its minorities. But India has given that. Not only in Jobs, education, Huj pilgrimage. Everywhere, they were considered as "minorities" and have equal rights as others. What is the result?
How many muslims are ready to dare their own jihadi fundamentalists? Not even ONE. But everyone is pointing their fingers towards Babri Masjid and Guj riots. No one thinks or takes a chance to look what they have done to our society in the name of Islam and Jihad.
Terrorism is not a sole property of poor or it arises because of unemployment. Unemployed youths are not going in Jihadi path except Muslims.
Think twice. You will know the answer.

Hi Patil :

The difference between Islam and other religions is ... Islam FORBIDS SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD ... while other religions FORBID SHEDDING OF BLOOD ... period. I cannot think of any religion which exhorts anything like JIHAD. Why is Islam different, if they are speaking of God who is all merciful? Even if the religion is for peace, if the practitioners are not for it, then the religion can do precious little.
