India is democracy....and NOT 'meritocracy' like Singapore or Taiwan.

Hence it is imperative to appreciate 'cultural' aka 'caste' and socio-economic diversity in all temples in India.

Government must implement 'reservations' in all Indian temples as per the 'caste' census in India.

52% of all Temple Priests including Supreme Court Judges must be from OBC communities.

This is not Democracy
by Dipak Bose on May 17, 2008 12:03 PM  Permalink

The Central government and the SC which has become its agent are trying to shup everyone up against this unjust quota system for the very rich farmers( OBC) who are employing Brahmins as servants or cooks or housekeepers.
Go to the Rly stations, those who are carrying bags are Brahmins from Bihar and UttarpRadesh. They are very poor but their childrens cannot get any quota or free education. But the rich farmers or shopowners who are OBC can.
This is injustice. The SC knows that, but the current Chief Justice of the SC is supporting the government.

Supreme Court vacated the stay on OBC quota
by Prabhanjan Butshikan on May 16, 2008 11:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Yes, Supreme Court has vacated the stay given by Kolkata High Court.

This news will not be given on Rediff. Actually Rediff does not give news, it gives ugly & biased views.

Hiding truth is equivalent to speaking lies.

Keep shouting guys, the OBC elephant will be marching ahead ignoring the barking of the casteist brigade!

you are right. Rediff staffers are mostly from upper castes and their primary objective is to safeguard the interests of their caste group in any manner, fair or unfair.

All temple positions must be reserved for Brahmins only. It is the duty and privilege of Brahmins only to handle all temple affairs.

All other caste people must be kept out of temple affairs.

These B's have no time to look at the country's security, but are pursuing dividing the people in the name of caste and quotas.
