Its not about Dalits or mayawati being the cm of up, but its about wat all she had done over here, the reconstruction of ambedkar maidan along side the VIP road & the reconstruction and widening of the VIP road has created problems for the shopkeepers along side the road. The construction of ambedkar maidan is for the good will of the people, employement for many people, but the things like widening of VIP road and such a Nahar Chauraha connecting amausi airport to thi VIP road has created full time traffic jams at the location. The widening of the VIP road has no use, will be just a show off, there are many roads inside the mahullahs and colonies which are in such a poor condition that should be construsted immediately, this should be done at the time. Mayawati's government has made up Lucknow but then even lucknow has got its own set of problems from the mayawati government.
She has very easily fooled the people,on caste discrimination and gained but not all the time she can do that. She is a big blot on the state development and corruption. Failed on every front,from building good infrastructure,roads,flyovers,electricity,water supply to shutting down industrial growth to stopping retail chains to debacle of sports complex to tourism industry.Can anyone tell has she been successful in providing basic amenities to people of lucknow--water,electricity,roads commutation ,houses --nothing. Stopped reliance fresh --thereby increasing unemployment. She only knows to recontruct the buildings for dalits which she only had erected sometime back...God knows why cant she invest this money to develop the state? Illiteracy of state increasing and increasing her vote bank..
Mayawati is special. She has done better than most CMs of U.P. in the last ten years. She is intelligent and courageous. I do not care what her caste is.
Of course, all Indians have to work together for the best results. All this talk of caste will drain our energies. All talk and emotion do not produce results in the real world.
But we need to accept that Mayawati has produced a good result for BSP in U.P. - politically, a very divided state in India. Unfortunately, the Mullah Mulayam government was openly "casteist", but with Mayawati, she attends to all castes. India is not served by casteist politicians. Once they come to power they must help everyone. Mayawati's success is because she knows this. In any case, we as Indians, should help to change the old ways, when Dalits did all the menial jobs. In modern India, we want a good mix of castes in the higher reaches, in politics, in business, in the army and police. That is the best way we will produce success for India. It is happening already. That is why there is a future for India, despite what HuIJ and other hot-heads may do to us with their cowardly acts of sneaking cycle bombs into our crowded baazaars.
Only Dalits can save India from chaos. None of them knows what is corruption. All working hard to feed most of the Indians. How many white and blue collar ones in here are ready to work in a paddy field. None....Say thanks to Dalits for feeding most of you for centuries and still continuing so..

Mayawati is no Dalit. She is opportunist political figure. So far, she has played her cards well. But there is a saying that one can fool some for some time, but not ALL all the time.
You and others will see her down fall as quickly as her rise (through opportunistic alliances). I am sure by now SP and BJP and the INC have learnt their lessons on whose shoulders she stood to gain this position of UP CM.

so what if u worked in a paddy, all have a role to play. dalits are everywhere in high positions also, and upper castes are also working in the fields. all have a role to play in society. One cannot do without the other. THink positive dodo....

Dalits can never make a CM or PM or rule in a big way unless they unite with Forward castes. Dalits are 15-25% of population and they are alone a minority and are no match to the 35% OBC Might and Terror . But With 20% Forward castes , Dalits can work wonders.
Dalit - Forward Caste unity is needed in the interest of future of Indian society .

In India, most of Politician are grown with all comfort and they do not know the reality of our country.In fact, most of them are carring forward legacy of their forfathers who worked as worked for walfare of British and Muslim.Thus they lack any quality of leader.True leader always face obstacal,abuse from people who do not like him/her,many time of discrmination at every step..etc.The person who succeed even after these problem is called leader.Mayawati is definitly succeed even all problem.And person who do not have support of few people.In fact, by criticizing her, we giving more chance to shine.

All the ills she has done may be wrong.. but it is unfair to just criticise her.. I am not a Dalit.. But, which other political leader is much cleaner? Perhaps, Modi and Buddhadev Bhattacharya.. but the list would not be very long..It's unfair to criticise her just because she has reduced the Rahul Gandhi and his mom to laughable also rans in UP.. Perhaps that's the real gall of the compromised media .. which is always busy terumpeting after Sonia and berating the opposition politicians..How fair is it to criticise her for Ambedkar memorials when GOI has incestuous patronage network with Nehru and Rajiv foundations? Was n't Conaught place renamed after the Gandhi family? In fact last year AG Noorani complained that Sonia and her minions illegally held Nehru's papers which are really GOI property - so should be in some archives..

Agreed very much !! Neither she is clean nor as dirty as the first family !! Criticizing any one for their mistakes is not bad. But why that amnesia when it comes to the Nehru-Gandhi clan?? Well, someone might say this is an article about Maya. But, then she isn't doing anything different that what Indira, Ravij, Sonia did to "preserve" their clan's name. Atleast Maya does out of strenth of people who voted her instead of "pretending" power sacrifice unlike Miano!! Better the original than fake if the common man is getting the same deal !!
She is a Dalit leader and represents them only in UP.She is just not a fat ass that she uplifts these dalits and loss there votes. What she is doing in UP clearly smacks of ego and cheap political mileage.By not allowing companies like reliance and the rest of them she is able to keep UP in a backward state as it was.If Gujarat had stopped Reliance,Essar etc it would not have been able to achieve the economic succes that it has now. She clearly has no clue what should be the foreign policy of India leave alone her views on Nuke deal-She'll probably ask the scientists to put a photograph of Kanshiram or Ambedkar on the missile. Are we looking at such senseless value additions.Don't we already feel burdened by the number of Ambedkar, Gandhi statues that we see all across our cities.It clearly shows that we're still living our past glories and don't have much to show now. Politicians like Mayavati are a drag to the growth of our country and no educated person should support her.
I think the Central Govt must only concentrate on the price control, infrastructure building, reservation based on economics disparities, removal of property, employment Guarantee Schemes, claiming credit for the RTI, exploring the benami property deals of Mayawati in the Capital and elsewhere, working in close liasion with SP, RLD and also BJP. All this will slowly finish the caste based politics of Mayawati.
