Whatever we may say,this time it is not the caste and reliegion that going to decide the fate of Karnataka. I am not psephologist but I can say one thing Who ever gets 18 seats out of 28 from Bangalore will rule Karnataka. Except mysore region I feel BJP will gain edge over other parties. They may not get 50% of the seats there.So Bangalore will decide between a hung assembly and simple majority. So bangaloeans do not crib about trafiic jams and stuff come out and vote on 10th. Either Vote for SM Krishna or for BJP.

Yes they should but these BJP idiots forget the hindus once in power. Eg the Bali Hindus asked Vajpayee for funds to develop their Hindu temples and Vajpayee told them that India being a secular nation could not give funds to them. At the same time King Abdullah of Saudi gave millions to develop Jama Masjid in Delhi and to develop terror cells and our govt had no objection. Long live Islamic replublic of India

However, UNTAET experienced difficulties initially in establishing its credibility amongst the Timorese leadership, leading to street violence. An important workshop on March 1, 2000 brought the Timorese and UN leadership group together to tease out a revised strategy, and identify institutional needs. The Timorese delegation was lead by José Ramos-Horta, and included Mari Alkatiri. The outcome was an agreed blueprint for a joint administration with executive powers, including leaders of the National Congress for Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT), led by future president Xanana Gusmão. Further details were worked out in a conference in May 2000. De Mello presented the new blueprint to a donor conference in Lisbon [1], on June 22, 2000, and to the UN Security Council on June 27, 2000 [2]. I do hope for the sake of Karnataka that it does not bring the Congress or the BSP to power. They would shoot thme selves in the foot. Both parties are divisive and not inclusive. They break people on dalit / caste and minority appeasement as much as the BJP would like to have a nettet nation of equality for all and appeasement to none.
