"Russian Kommersant online daily newspaper revealed that Russian state-run weapon exporter Rosoboronexport is completing negotiations with China to deliver up to 50 Sukhoi Su-33 (NATO codename: Flanker-D) fighter aircraft in a purchase deal reportedly worth US$2.5 billion in total. Should the deal goes through, it would be the second biggest export contract for Russian-made weapons" For a man with low IQ ( KK Sahedevan Level) talk nonsense about BJP RSS etc but dont get involved in the matter of Fighter planes and advaced weoponay etc . Limit your self to country made cruue bombs/ hachets etc that your party manufactures in Kannur

Bush is going to retire this November...n his Republican govt is not goin to come in power...so just relax...we Indians have to do something...
In part in response to China's Sanya base the Indian navy is building a similar underground base at Rambilli in the south-central state of Andra Pradesh.
The Indian base is due to be completed by 2011 and will serve as the depot for the country's entire fleet of submarines, currently 16, but due to grow significantly in coming years with the construction of a class of domestically designed nuclear powered boats euphemistically called Advanced Tactical Vessels.Like China's Sanya base, Rambilli will allow submarines to enter and leave the facility while submerged and therefore away from the prying eyes of spy satellites.
Rambilli is very much a response to China's extension of its naval reach, which has seen Beijing make a pact with Islamabad to use a Pakistan naval base at Gwadar and another with Burma to establish an electronic eavesdropping centre on the Coco Islands to keep tabs on the Indian Navy in the Bay of Bengal.

Fool like you talk nonsense sitting in India. Anytime you had been to china? Had you been to china you would have been singing different tune. We should really learn from them how to make progress.

You know ones China was ruled by Japanese...They killed rather massacared thousands of Chinese people. Now they forgot the past. Seems they want to be ruled again by all peace loving country of the world.
It is known well China is the king of the region be it economically, fundamentally, socially and even in defense.
Fundamentally - Remember China was never ruled by outsider. While India dogged under british rule for 4ooyrs. So fundamentally tough to crack and is superior
Economically - Mao realised the market economics sooner and started developing china in that mode. China attracts much more FDI than india any time.... but at the same time put a rule that every FDI has to do technology KT to local players to operate in the country. Even it will overtake IT edge with in next few years.
Socially - China is socialisitc(atleast declared) in their approach and iron fisted any regional or sub regional freedom movements. Remember tiaminen squre and Tibet? In contrast look at J&K, Punjab, naxalism, NE debacles of indias internal policy.
Defense forces- Well China used its large populous to the best use. When they could beat india and nehru 45yrs back then can crush india any time. China developed ICBMs well before most of us are born (pre 1970s). In contrast india behaving like an idiot by depending on ageing Russia for arms. Neither it can develop indigenously nor it wants to have open relation with israel/US for the fear of internal political dynamics.
China pro active foreign policy in the region just isolated india with all its neighbours raging against it...latest entry is Nepal. It is reflection of failure on indias policy towards its neighbours. So India

Fundamentally, Economically, Socially China may become super power. That is not an issue. Eventually what is going to happen is the subject of matter. No countries in the world have confidence on china. That s is enough for China, itself will collide.

your analysis is o.k but the perception regarding indo-china relations is foolhardy spiced with US and israel-led anti-communist hysteria. you should understand that minoo masani styled anti-communist won't work any more at least from the asian sub-continent point of view.the politics of the entire region has gone a sea change since the cold war days. depending on russian technology and arms was indeed helpful to india....only an opportunist like you would ignore for obvious american-fed reasons.... and about china....you remain assured that the russia-chinaindia triangle will eventually jeopardise american and israely dreams...dreams of becoming the super power.... and regarding problems like naxalism,JK you views are somewhat o.k but in that list you should also include the tibetans-creating unending nuisance and wastage of indian subsidy.

Hello Sanjeev, There was a concept called RUSSIA-INDIA-CHINA triangle about two decades before only. not now. Things are totally changed. Can you tell me a single point that we can appreciate china's stand on India. I can give thousand reasons why India should very cautious about China. Open your eyes see what's happening around.

And in the China Budget it is spent/invested honestly and In India a large amount of the same is siphoned by the corrupt politcians and the top brass of the Defence as a caucus. In China if you are caught in corruption then you face death sentence and implemented in a fast track court whereas in India there are so many courts and so many dates. This is why we should kick out the politicians particulalry the communists.
something of this type must be going on near our borders also,,, par politicians to ghumne main khush hain,,,intelligence agency ke pass na to money hai na power.... china maza kar raha hai..
