For the commies Communal means anyone standing for Hindus or National interest.They have noproblem in allianing with muslim fundemental parties in Kerala.They even created a Muslim Distict-Malappuram- many years ago.Now they have been directed by thier Chinease masters to woo Muslims voters in a bigway and hence their stand against BJP. I am unable to understand why BJP is not highlighting the pro china policies of CPM among the commen electorate in Kerala and WB.They should make this as their mainissue in the coming elections.
Leftists have no alternative other than staying out of power. This is the first and last time for them to have same say (did they have any this time also??) in governance.

All people are to die one day. Death is regrettable be it communists or anybody. Only difference is that ordinary people when they die, they are buried but when a communist die he or she will be sown.
Our beloved Karat forgot to mentions CPM's definition of "communal forces" Definition of communal forces is: "Any force which helps the Hindus"
Giving state award(Kerala) to M.F Hussain is secularism. If Taslima writes about how the Hindus are massacred in Bangladesh, its outright communal.
Its ok to burn Hindus (particularly in trains). Any reaction to it is communal.
US is anathema to CPM so it is for Muslims. Hindus/BJP are anathema for CPM so it is for Muslims. India as a nation is not important - it is the ideology which matters. If China invades India CPM will support them (and they supported in 1962). India as a nation is not important - our religion is. If Paki invades (/plays cricket with) India, Muslims will support them (as they always have).
Why should there be a CPM. Just merge with SIMI, LeT, Muslim League etc.
If these three conditions are the basis for the NCNB Front (Non Congress, Non BJP Front), then all political parties qualify themselves to be part of the front. Because no party including BJP will admit itself as communal; all parties including Congress will claim themselves for the uplift of aam aadmi; and no party will admit that they are for making India as subordinate ally of the US. So, where is the necessity for a third front? Instead we can form a National Government.
Their present status seems to be that they will support any group that agrees to one in the 3 conditions!!!!
Also, these Communists have to specifically state what they mean by "Communal Forces" is it any party that is "Communal" or any party that is in favour of Hindus.
Gosh how long can you keep deluding yourselves? The left parties are still living in the days when they had the support of the USSR and China. We did have to depend on the USSR for military supplied and Technological Knowhow for many years. The USSR also stood by us on the International Scene. But those days are long gone. There was a revolution in popular thought and most of the World moved away from Communism. However our Left Parties were somehow insulated from the news. That must be why they merrily engage in Police goondagardi in Bengal and inane anti Americanism in Parliament. Could it be that the next Election will see deja vu for the Left Parties?
