by manmohan shama on Mar 27, 2008 04:13 PM  Permalink

Great job done by 509 Army Base work shop (Army people) and other supporting team.
SURPANCH/ PRADHAN of that village should be punished for not not displaying his social responsiblity.

Vandana
by Nandakumar on Mar 27, 2008 01:55 PM  Permalink

Hats off to You ARMY MEN. The way you cheered after the little kid was moved in the ambulance was overwhelming and captured the mood of the situation. Good there was no bloody politician to take milage of your bravery & dedication. Surely action must be taken on all the people responsible.

Administrative Carelessness
by Mitesh Jethwa on Mar 27, 2008 01:55 PM  Permalink

Such incidents are coming to light with alarming regularity and I feel everyone is secretly happy with it. The news-hungry media gets a live show to broadcast that gives them more eyeballs than an Indi-Pak one-dayer, and that too at no cost. The administration (DM, Collector etc) get their share of fame by appearing on prime time TV with their views.

My question is, why are such death-traps left open in the first palce? Why is'nt a criminal case filed against the individuals/corporation who dug the hole and then left it open? Why has no action been taken in case of Prince? Why does the administration not ensure these holes are filled up when no longer in use and criminally prosecute those who do not comply? Only when a minister's child falls in and God-forbid looses life that these people will take notice and be proactive.

great work
by nanda kumar on Mar 27, 2008 01:27 PM  Permalink

I heartfully congratulate the indian army for their talented rescue efforts foe saving a little kid.

these kind of carelesss activitirs like leaving open the borewell, without insulating the electrical wires , dugging the earth & left it unatteneded like these happens everywhere across the india , i think that this is the first time a girl is survived ,so atleast our local adminstration dept should be well trained in rescue operations

Miracle by God

it is nothing but miracle by almighty god which saved her life.
Otherwise a two and half small girl cannot survive such ordeal.
Messangers of god, the army did a excellent job.
The little girl vandana deserves a bravery award by none less than President of India.

Hi Hari,
On what basis you are rocommending VANDANA for a President award.
Vandana has not done any thing rather she was a victim and suferor as she fell into the open borewell hole.
It is a Rescue team who should be rewareded and SURPANCH of that village should go in AGRA central jai.
