I think, the supreme court should move in and take congnigence since the govt authorities are not doing anyhting to punish the guilty here. There has been a series of such incidents and even now, the district authorities are sleeping over it.
Government employees have been given a 40% pay rise these Jawans should get 100% with no strings attached. They do a more deserving job the the so called government officials.

Its good to hear the news. But what the heck the authorities are doing. Put them in jail for 2 years non-bailable , who ever is resposible to keep the borewell open. Everytime , I see these news , Media hypes the news, but nobody talks about why the hell the borewell is open.
Create a law and punish those guys. Does not media ever address this issue , or Media is just trying to keep these kind of news coming so as to keep their newspapers alive.

Create a law yes by all means but who is going to enforce it. The corrupt officials or the police. Bribes will make sure it is never implemented.

Passing a law does not entirely solve the problem, but would definitely reduce the silly mistakes by workers who keep them open. Yes ,bribary is there, but why would anybody want to keep it open and pay bribe. They would rather abide by the law to securely close it to avoid any kids reaching for it.
it's really heartening to see the little girl come come out unharmed...and a big thumbs up to our army which did such a great job....... 'Get well soon Vandana'
its not the first time that this happened. Now army have their own cell Disastermanagement for some babies slipping in borewell. Now cheif minister will award this baby a job in Army for surviving this ordeal. Tomowrroz i Ll dug a hole and put my Munna for 42 hours . HE will get a secure job after 20 years
First, it is heartening that thekid is doing fine. Then, let's not get too cynical here. Girl's parents can be held for negligence, but I would go after the department (must be a govt deptt) who ordered the digging at the first place and then decided to leave it open. It his borewell was not required for the time being, then they must have covered it with cement and stones/bricks etc. They should have posted a board there indicating that there is a borewell and keep your children away from it. Nothing of this sort was done. I am surprised that none of the district authorities where similar incidents have happened in the past, have thought to punish those sitting in the govt offices who were responsible for digging and leaving it open.
We are yet to set aside the responsibilities. We tend to kill the messenger most of the time or someone least culpable to show to the public that we did somthing.
It is about time to identify and tighten the screws around the most culpable. Thanks.

Why should the girls parents be held for negligence, they were just playing with her. just any normal parents do. The first person guilty is the MLA whose project this was. Shoot him in public then go after the other officials. Not the parents.

Agreed. Everytime a baby is rescued, the entire matter is forgotten and no news about if the authority responsible (individual or govt) for the borewell was punished. There were several such incidents and a mass operation to survey such borewells are not taken place yet. Looks like this is going to be continuing event in India.

It seems to me that you do not have brain your father forgot to buy material for the brain when you was manufactured. But if yo have one then you are out of your mind mr, you need your brain removed from you skull and washed under a freezing cold water stream then pickled in nitric acid to remove any impurities before replacing back in your skull.
A big thumbs up for the army personnels. But I feel that their urgency is in other places. The people who has left the well uncovered should be punished so that the same is not repeated. Also Wandana's parents are equally responsible as they have both failed in their duties as parents. It is not enough just to produce but taking full care and responsibility is more important. It should be a lesson to all Indian parents who just produce in the nae of God when they don't have the means to shelter their children.Hope Wandana grows up to be a educated and loving parent.God BLESS her.
