Very fluid political situation
by Ram Sharma on Mar 28, 2008 01:35 PM  Permalink

Political situation in the country is not good. That is one of the reasons, why Sonia is ruling the country with only 145/540 seats in Lok Sabha and without pre poll alliance with the parties with whose support it is ruling.

There r only 2 major parties in the country. Congress does not have any internal democracy. Indira destroyed internal democracy in 1975 by making party and her family sinonimous. Now it is owned by Sonia parivar (Sonia, Rahul & Priyanka, with her children in the waiting). BJP is viewed as pro Hindu.

Left parties themselves consist mainly of CPM, CPI and other small parties. They r all confined to WB, Keral & Tripura only.

Other parties r regional parties and most of them r cateist also, like SP, BSP, RJD, DMK, Shiv Sena, JD (various fations), Telegu Desam, Muslim League etc.

For a good democracy, the need of the hour is 2 or 3 all India parties, having internal democracy. How it can happen in the country is very difficult to say.

Is communism successful?
by Dheeraj Akula on Mar 28, 2008 11:43 AM  Permalink

If our commies really practised Communism and showed its benefits and wiped out poverty in Kerala and at least West Bengal, then we would have wholeheartedly supported Communism.

The commies themslves don't practise Communism.

They reduced themselves to just another political party. They are paid slaves of Chinese. They don't say a single word against Chinese.

If they are true communists, they should have demonstrated the greatness of communism by wiping out poverty in West Bengal. They came to power sevral times there, but could not do anything. West Bengal is one of the junk states of India.

Why can't they show success and be a role model for the entire country?

Commies practise capitalism
by Dheeraj Akula on Mar 28, 2008 11:41 AM  Permalink

Commies actually practise capitalism, not communism.

Commies in Bengal own all businesses in Bengal.

Not by the communist government. Bengali commies own the businesses privately. If you want to go there and start a business, you can not do that. They will not allow you to start anything of your own.

The commies are well-entrenched in the government and they enjoy full government support.

You can not even set up a charity organization. When some Hindus wanted to open a branch of their Hindu charity organization in Bengal, the commies opposed and said, "Give us the money and we will do the charity".

Commies rig elections
by Dheeraj Akula on Mar 28, 2008 11:38 AM  Permalink

Do you know how the commies come to power everytime in Bengal?

They rig the elections everytime.

Commie goondas stand outside your apartment and they do not allow you to come out.

If you somehow manage to reach the election booth, you will find that your vote has already been cast by some commies. Who says that commies are lazy and don't work? They do this great work of rigging elections every time.

Left is a prosti
by Dheeraj Akula on Mar 28, 2008 11:37 AM  Permalink

Left is a prosssstittttute.

It shamelessly enjoyed with the Congress for five years. It enjoyed the privileges of a ruling party, and simultaneously pretended like an opposition party, opposing every move of the govt.

Now this prosti is looking for another customer to enjoy another 5 years.

Shameless bitccccch!

Both Left & Congress accuse each other of being anti people and r also happily running the govt!
by Ram Sharma on Mar 28, 2008 10:37 AM  Permalink

If UPA is following anti people policies for last 4 years, left cannot escape from the same charge. Bcoz it is they, bcz of whose support the govt was formed and running. Though left is giving only outside support, it could have forced govt to follow pro people policy, just like they r raising objection to the nuclear treaty.

Earlier Sonia had said that those opposing the nuclear deal r anti people. So both Congress and Left r in effect saying that the other is anti people. Still Congress is not averse to take support of the left in running the govt and left is also not averse to support the govt from outside.

But I think that it is just a friendly fight between left and congress. Both criticise each other to keep their own vote banks happy. This will go on for remaining life of this Lok Sabha.

Third alternative an imperative need: Bengal CM
by Hebbar R on Mar 28, 2008 10:15 AM  Permalink

Presently the Left is running with the Hares and hunting with the hounds. Being allies of UPA, they are indirectly a part of the Govt and they have equal share of blame for the allegations that they themselves are making against the Govt. The Left wants to be a part of the Govt and also the only opposition and seem to be totally confused, though they have never had it so good ever politically. The FM was right when he indicated that the 60 MPs are dictating.

While the Left is talking about price rise, what have they done? If they are so unhappy, why are they not forcing the Govt? Just before the prices of Petrol and Diesel were raised recently, the Left said they will protest and ensure that the prices will not be raised. But, what happened? Except for some mock protest nothing happened. The Govt happily raised the prices and maintained the increase.
