A dog's day
by farrukh khan on Mar 28, 2008 06:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It happens only in India.
Who can claim that Bangaluru is Silicon valley of India/ World? Just a dog can wrack the air-traffic is strange and un-believable.
There are 2 errors;
1. How come dog strayed onto the runway? IAAI should be pulled-up for this.
2. How come pilot was trying to save the dog at the cost of passengers' lives.
The dog would have blown to pieces had it hit the plane. The mishap occured as pilot tried to apply brakes to save the dog.

When will we have World-class facilities?
When will we learn start learning from mistakes?
When people is authority would fear that lethargy on their part would be questioned and they can be taken to task?

Kingfisher is a great airline !! Good service

Really a dog? IN the runway ? International airport >?
by Soy Adrenal on Mar 28, 2008 04:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I cant believe that, what would have happened if an British airlines flight from London met with the same fate during LANDING with 300 people on board? But i suspect, it wouldnt have been a dog, How did it enter the runway? Will the owner of the dog be sued?. What punishment would the dog receive? Now there is a glooming population of beggars on runways, trying to get money from passengers on the flight through the windows. This would have been just another incident, where a poor beggar was hit.

If the nosewheel cannot take a Dog hit, how does it bear the entire plane's weight when landing at such a high speed.

Nothing happened to the dog? or is it one of the injured guys ;)

was it a dog or a dinosaur ?
by Bliss on Mar 28, 2008 02:35 AM  Permalink

Please doubly ensure whether its a dog or dinosaur. I think its a bad luck of Deccan that still follows Kingfisher in dog's form.
