what happened to the Dog
by delguy on Mar 28, 2008 07:10 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rediff please find out about the dog, but I am kind of surprised that a dog can be so dangerous for a plane, but I think the plane was small, so it might make sense.

Manish as per the latest changes in the State's name (ehich i guess you missed to read somehow) Bangalore is now Bengaluru. Sounds funny but its the real name not Bangalore (given by The British Raj).

Hey, that is not right! Just see, the the lives of Bangaloreans (nee Begalurians) have dramatically improved with the name change!!!! All the roads have become wider and smoother and there is hardly any traffic, Power and water are in excess, the climate is once again salubrious, cost of living is the lowest in the world, etc!!!!!!!

Dog's relatives
by myfaq on Mar 28, 2008 07:06 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

And from now on the dog will proudly pee on the plane and tell its relatives the story of how he/she brought a big plane down with its super dog powers. It will be a hero (or most probably a politician like Deve Gowda) in its community.

Dog's day out ...
by Pradip Rabindranath on Mar 28, 2008 07:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Dog may have thought that the BIAL must be operational and no take-offs and landing at HAL anymore. But seriously this is yet another incident of dog stray, once an indigo pilot aborted landing seconds before he saw the canine on the tarmac ...

A few days back DH reprted that the Bangalore Airport has the highest security apparatus in India and "no dog can stray in" ...

Rgds.

Pradip

It wasnt a dog
by sur sur on Mar 28, 2008 06:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The latest news is that someone enjoyed his Kingfisher beer a little too much and was crawling on all fours on the runway. It wasnt a dog at all. The Pilot was also on a high from free booze and mistook what he saw.

Even TOI and other media covered it in first page! .. now when 27 people saved luckily(which migh have unlucky too) people are raising voice against Dogs .. heheh funny ... well there is a saying in Bengaluru .. if you throw a stone at any part of bengaluru it will be falling over either a dog or over an engineer !! ...

Some drunken dog!!
by Kabothi Kumar on Mar 28, 2008 06:49 AM  Permalink

Yeah, it wasn't a four-legged dog, but a 2-legged one. A drunk airport staff strayed into the runway and officials angrily referred to him as the "dog" in the runway. BTW, he had taken Kingfisher beer :-)
