KARNATAKA ELECTIONS
by Srinivasan Prathivathi on Apr 02, 2008 04:25 PM  Permalink

Now that the dates of the elections are announced, people in Karnataka should decide whom to vote.As we have to elect our representatives for 5 years careful consideration should be given.

During the last regime, one of the parties of the coalition,(I donot want to name as everybody knows) did not keep up the promise made while coming to power i.e to hand over the power to another party after their term. This amounts to cheating.I donot know why Governor kept quite when he knew the agreement was there.

These parties when they donot follow the principles of Dharma should be shown the door by the people at the time of elections and it should be a lesson to others who will have the temptation to do the same act.

Congress is run by arrack contractors
by neetha on Mar 28, 2008 09:16 AM  Permalink

Manor problem/issue in Rural Karnataka poor families is husbands drinking arrack and abusing wives and kids there by millions of family have been destroyed. In my village I have seen 10-15 cancer death due to arrack. In 1996 and 2003 when Karnataka women forum requested CM and government to ban arrack, Congress rejected millions of mothers request due arrack lobbyist. In 2005 when thousands of women requested government then only BJP Deputy CM took a bold and tough decision to ban arrack distribution and save millions of families. Congress govt is influenced by arrack contractors and never bother to listen to women%u2019s voice. I understand there some job looses but millions of women%u2019s and kids are saved. We don%u2019t want to see Congress and arrack contractors again coming to power to destroy Karnataka. Poor peoples and public do not understand this that is big problem in our country. Even Siddaramaiah then deputy CM of Congress appreciated this but when he was finance minister he never bother to do this. Now he say I am leader of backward cast but he does not want help poor families being destroyed by arrack. This is irony of our country. Politicians should learn from some ethics and honest and dignity from wester leaders.

We have seen Congress and Devegowda party many times since many years. Both Congress and Davegowda party looted our state like anything. They introduced corruption every where. It is high time for great peoples of Karnataka to give a chance to BJP. BJP has many good young leaders . Old Congress is has waste guy and dummy guys.

You are absolutely right. BJP is the only option available now for People of Karnataka. Other Parties have looted Karnataka since many years. They are pain parties. BJP has good and honest leaders like Jagadeesh shetter, Eswarappa, Ashok, Govinda karjola, Ramesh Jigjigani, Udasi, Shakaralinge Gowda, GT Devegowda, Ramulu apart from main leaders. Definetly Karnataka needs change this time. We are sick of partiesm like JDS and Congress. Hope peoples will give support to BJP.

How can we save Democracy ?
by Uttamkumar Samanta on Mar 27, 2008 11:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If after every alternate term of five years there is a one year President rule both in the states
and whole country, and during that period of time all IAS, IPS and anti-corruption agency take control of
administration, I strongly believe lots of dirts will be cleaned from the previous misruled Govts.
Following that if election is held under the central force and central commands (President, IAS, IPS), then people will have definitely better chance to elect better candidate.
Another thing is there must be a open debate in the TV with all front-runner political parties
with their projected leader. people should decide whether projected person is able to be a commander-in-chief.
Commander of Chief should NOT be decided or elected by few shameless lickers after the election.

You thought that the IAS/IPS fellows are pure? I pity your lack of common sense. 90% of them are corrupt and many more are arrogant. They are in no way better than the dirty politicians.
