Can Rahul do a Dhoni for Cong?
by Sahadevan KK on Mar 26, 2008 03:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Can Rahul do a Dhoni for Cong?

I think, somebody does this comparison to diminish Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Rahul Gandhi himself proved in UP Twenty20 matches he is a successive and substitute runner.
He faced first ball of of Babri Masjid Demolition and Nehru Family. Second ball was a credit of Pakistan-Bangadesh Division. He faced 3rd ball and duck out.

If you want to quote cricketing examples, Viven Richards scored double ducks for his first 5 test matches and then suddenly burst to score a hurricane hundred and went on to retire as one of the greats of the game. So why not Rahul? Everyone has a learning curve. It is the BJP who tries to fool the world that they are supermen.

Rahul Baba...Aage Badho
by Makarand Sane on Mar 26, 2008 03:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Wow ..Rahul Baba...am so excited by your entry into politics. Really you are the real future of India. Under your great leadership india would become a superpower. Only you can trample under your feet the fanatic snakes who wnat to make India as a 'Hindu Rashtra'.
I wish you and the congress party rule India for ever and ever as the secularism is very well guarded under the congress leadership.Once you become PM of India, people would even forget that there was even a party called the BJP.
You are the only person who can bury the demon of RSS.May GOD bless you..Hindustan Zindabaad

Dhoni?
by Amitabh Akolkar on Mar 26, 2008 03:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dhoni did not have his grandfather or father in India cricket team or borad. He is a selfmade man. Whereas Rahul is a new generation of terrible Nehru family

That is only possible in Polytics. In games it is not possible. Example Sunil Gavaskar son. Even after his fathers strongest support he could not make it to Ranaji. But in politics youhave just born to a politician.

Yes, that's life. Some are self-made and others through advantage of birth. It does not mean that Rahul just because he belongs to a political dynasty cannot excel in politics and conversely - all jokers who do belong to any political linegae would be a success.

Unfortunately, your views on Nehru family is not shared widely either in India or globally. Why then the electorate voted in the Congress in 2004?
