Scarlett case: Forensic expert suspended for 'mistake'
by Nirpinder Singh on Mar 27, 2008 09:00 AM  Permalink

This is something that brings in question the professional competence of the Doctor concerned. I am sure that if he is at fault the Medical Council of India will be well advised to cancel his medical license. A proper inquiry should be conducted to find out whether the Doctor wrote his initial forensic report under "pressure". This is even more important since the same Doctor is likely to have conducted many such autopsies in the past. What all must be going on in the law and order situation in Goa?

After the second autopsy findings were revealed, Sapeco went to the press with a statement that "he had verbally expressed the possibility of homicidal drowning in this case to the police after the first autopsy".

Why they dont handover the case to CBI so that the truth is out.Aresst the PI and Forensic expert and put the to Nacro test and let them talk. Make a public viewing and watch what they had to hide and who asked them to coverup as they routinely do for most of the cases.Money talks and bullshit walks.

Everybody thought that Goa was a safe heaven for
tourists local as well as foreign, but this heaven has been turning into HELL slowly and surely. The friendly Goans are no more friendly they have become arrogant and agressive.Murder of the British speaks a lot,how could this girl the drugs and liquor when she was an under age? from where are the drugs comming in this once beautifull and safe place? one wonders when you look at the kashmiri and nepali population who r infamous for the drugs supplies. But then I again wonder are all these illegal actvities possible without the blessings of local politicians and govt machinary ??? These guys must be making a hell lot of money from the drugs suppliers through regular HAFTAs, if not then how the drugs are freely available to the under age british girl??? what are the police, cid,anti-drug cell, intelligence, etc are doing? Goa must be a solid money making place for the local politicians, police and all the govt machinary ! Is somebody listening/reading.Goa can be made into the safe heaven again if the original Goans give a thought to it.And with influx of so much of north indian population the things might go from bad to worst.Jago Goans Jago nahin to year 2015 tak tumhare hath se Goa jayega.BE WARE.

Attention to all readers and fellow Indian's. Our country was respected world wide for our rich heritage & culture. Because of few people in India our name in worldwide is going for a toss. If we read newspapers one or the other news will be there about molestation of tourist woman and there are many encounters even law defenders are being involved. Our tourism is going to get affected few years from now and its for sure. The administration of tourism department is total failure in this regards. How to overcome this? can anybody please explain

Enforce the law and good governance which now seems a mere dream. The people have to force the govt to take action it is because of us that the govt.is elected. Till the educated and peace loving people vote this state of affairs will continue - select the candidate and not the party ensure accountability - this has to be done collectively by forming a citizens forum where lawyers and eminent persons not in the govt must form.
