Practically it is a case where a journalist first indulged in an illicit relationship with a very senior IPS officer-delivered a child also(Mr. sharma is also equally responsible) later on she started dicatation and taking him to ransom, he could not cope up with her due to service bondanges and national interests. He is an otherwise an asset whereas Shivani is extorter. Judges should have been very lenient with Mr. Sharma.

U need to have a re-think my friend. A senior police officer abetting murder...wonder what good that will do to the confidence the general public will have in the police henceforth. This is an official who has abused the system and hoped to get away with it with his official status. I think he has been let off the hook..deserves to be hanged

Many do far far worse, not saying crimes shld go unpunished but this is one of the route some men adopt to get out of the wrong CAVE that they made themselves fall into. In these time, you cannot shoot yourself out of the CAVE

Yeah thats Tru friend!!! Judge Shastri has not only slapped us but in Appreciating the convict he has converted this rarest of rare case into a simple one. Had he been so distinguished in his career but committing an act like this does not gel with credentials & this case should have been set as an example for any senior guy like him from thinking even in his dreams of such an act.
well well well...its just a sessions court judgment... the guilty has moved the high court now..n then there will be Supreme Court as well... i m sure..my children will also hear abt R.K.Sharma's case

yes , this harsh punishment of hanging in public will befit the situation of present crime punishment . Middle eastern contries punishment is better for such heinous crime . pl see the level of crime and done by whome ?. If we follow the harsh punishment people at higher echeleon of power will think 1000 times before doing such crimes
Now media has to play a very important role. They need to telecast special bulleteins interviewing R K Sharma's family. This would depict how they would starve as the bread earner of family is imprisoned for life,Should show some elderly people in his family threatening to self-immolate if he is not released,should show few females showing sympathy for his wife as how it would be disgraceful for her to continue with her life as a wife of a criminal etc... Afterall the same media had done this in case of the Rapist & Murderor Dhananjay Chaterjee whom they have selectively forgot once he was hanged.... Keep it up the great media of Independant India,you are the real news maker in this country
