Expected a more sever sentence
by Rajesh Kumar on Mar 24, 2008 05:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am not at all surprised about the sentence handed over to R.K.Sharma. I expected death sentence for him. I am always under the view that if a common man or an illiterate is punished for murder or any crime, policemen and politicians should be punished more severely. These people know the law and they are meant to protect it but they take the law in their hands and do whatever they want. Where will we see justice for common man if these guys go scott free. A crime is a crime no matter who commits it. All are equal before the law and no one is above it. This punishment again proves that justice still prevails in our country. This person Sharma is also alleged to have passed sensitive information to Ms. Bhatangar since he was working in the Prime minister's office. Again this is against the law. I am happy Mr. Shashtri did not consider Sharma's excellent record or anything before pronouncing the judgement. People like Sharma are a menace to the society in large and also to the police department. This is a brave judgement.

Nope, with so much of smartness,
He should have have leaked information to drug syndicate and fetched few crores for himself and also asked them to keep Shivani Bhatnagar happy.

BUT HE WAS NOT A PROFESSIONAL CRIMINAL AFTERALL. otherwise he would do quite well in India.
I KNOW MANY INDIANS ARE VERY PREJUDICED AGAINST HIS LAST NAME.

India is NOW a place for minority manipulators (the politicians) OR blackmailers(money/seex/lingo/religion/) OR those who hire professional killer like Drug Mafia OR have high political/money connections.
SADLY = ALL THE ABOVE CAN ESCAPE JUSTICE SYSTEM and live lavishly in India.

Finally justice is implemented. Its good to see that the judiciary has finally come of age and and it can deliver justice. however the extent and the extent of the punishment is quiet diminished and there are many cases similar nature languishing waiting to see the sun

RIGHT DECISION (BRAVO)
by kkrishh on Mar 24, 2008 05:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Excellent decision. R K sharma is not the culprit. He did the right thing by killing her. If u r blackmailed then u would have also done the same. So, shastri made right decision by seeing his service record.
EXCELLENT DECISION!!!

he gave him NO concession for excellent record. Infact humiliated him that your excellent record don't count. I "Mr. Shastri" is the boss here.

I feel sorry for Bhatnagar's and yet I say only Sharma was tried to the fullest and it would have NEVER happened if he had BIG MONEY or political connections.

Only mistake, he realized late that was not what he needed to do.

All the friking justice system is made to prosecute people like ''sharma'' and none others
by D S on Mar 24, 2008 05:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This guy RK sharma and his family got more punishment and insult than he deserved.

HAD HE BEEN A MINISTER SON OR INDUSTRIALIST SCION, HE WOULD HAVE ESCAPED. DO YOU HEAR OF RAHUL GANDHI RAPE RECORD IN BOSTON, USA.

what is classified now days??? Sonia's family friends got kickback. Can India do anything about it. THAT KICKBACK MONEY COULD HAVE SAVED MILLIONS OF FARMERS WHO COMMIT SUICIDE.

FINANCIAL CRIMES GO UN-NOTICED AND COST MORE LIVES IN INDIA. Don't get me there.

Many do far far worse, not saying crimes that shld go unpunished.
This is one of the route some men adopt to get out of the wrong CAVE that they make themselves fall into.

In these Modern times, men cannot shoot their way out of the CAVE.

Sharma got NO liniency for exceptional record.
by D S on Mar 24, 2008 04:58 PM  Permalink

what?Do you think Sharma is worse than Dharmenda who kept second marriage or Amitabh who dumped his partners like Rekha and Praveen Babi ..and never admitted to it i.e acted noble.

Excellent record is needed in India and should be commended for that and has nothing to do with charges.

This case should be set as an Example in the law books as to How to mock the Judicial System & conversion of rarest of rare crimes into a simple murder case.
