Christians and Muslims believe that their religion is the only religion. Others r not only fool they r sinners as well. Both suffer from false sence of superiority complex. And this is the cause of many world problems. Christ, Mohammed, Guru Nanak, Mahavir Jain, Budha etc were all very good persons, who wanted good of the people. But the level of scientific knoweldge at that time was poor.
Actually all religions have many superstitious notions. But Hinduism believes in equality of all religions. Hindus also do not have to strictly follow what was written thousands of years ago in a book.
For peace in the country the Christians and Muslims should either keep the religion as a very private matter and not indulge in propagating that their religion is the only religion. Otherwise they should convert to Budhism or Hinduism or Jainism or Sikhism, as people from these faiths do not boast that they r the only religion. Or otherwise they should become Atheists.

The natives of India who converted to Islam and Christianity are suffering from "Stockholm Syndrom" (pl search the web if you do not what this phrase means).
They are now eulogizing the aggressors forgetting the fact that it was their ancestors who suffered at their hands.
This trend is more prevalent in the converts in India. The converts in South East Asian countries (like Korea, Japan, Vietnam, etc) keep their native names even after conversion unlike those in India who adopt the names of Biblical characters or Arabic names.

Worshipping any thing is good than killing in the name f kofirs...
If you think kofirs are wrong why God is blessing them with wealth and knowledge and Muslims are getting killed all over the world? is god blessing you with that killings? Is god thinking some thing wrong in practice of Muslims?

Can you prove Islam is the truth - or just some ramble by a guy from the Arabian desert suffering from sun stroke? Why is it that nobody can question or even analyse Isalm if its the truth. My guess- it must be the sun stroke speaking.

A Short History, the Kaaba was dedicated to Hubal, a Nabatean deity, and contained 360 idols which either represented the days of the year, or were effigies of the Arabian pantheon. Once a year, tribes from all around the Arabian peninsula, be they Christian or pagan, would converge on Mecca to perform the Hajj. To keep the peace among the perpetually warring tribes, Mecca was declared a sanctuary where no violence was allowed within 20 miles of the Kaaba. This combat-free zone allowed Mecca to thrive not only as a place of pilgrimage, but also as a trading center.According to the Boston Globe, the Kaaba was a shrine for the Daughters of God (al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat) and Hubal. The Kaaba was thought to be at the center of the world, with the Gate of Heaven directly above it. The Kaaba marked the location where the divine world intersected with the mundane, and the embedded Black Stone was a further symbol of this as a meteorite that had fallen from the sky and linked heaven and earth. According to Sarwar, about four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad, a man named "Amr bin Lahyo bin Harath bin Amr ul-Qais bin Thalaba bin Azd bin Khalan bin Babalyun bin Saba", who was descended from Qahtan and king of Hijaz (the northwestern section of Saudi Arabia, which encompassed the cities of Mecca and Medina), had placed a Hubal idol onto the roof of the Kaaba, and this idol was one of the chief deities of the ruling Quraysh tribe. The idol was made of red agate, and shaped like a human, but with the right hand broken off and replaced with a golden hand. When the idol was moved inside the Kaaba, it had seven arrows in front of it, which were used for divination.

Rajesh Khanna Yesss there is a hadith like that,,,, But thats not the authentic hadith considered by most of the scholars,,,,,,,,,
Pl search the web for "Anil Worship" to understand how the system of wroship originated. Various forms of worships we see today is the continuation of the system of wroship of the primitive tribes thousands of years back.
Despite the tremendous growth in science and technology, a good majority of people want to believe in some "supreme creator" and such notions.
Another important point is that almost every religion teaches its followers how to better a life here-after, none of them are teaching how to live life on planet earth!
