Most of us do not think twice when condemning/ lauding these incidents, but do we realise that this is another type of ethnic cleansing that is going on in Pakiland? Mostly Shia soldiers are assigned to fight the militants (as most Sunni soldiers refuse to fight or worse, collaborate with the jihadis), and the Sunni militants take utmost pleasure in mercilessly killing these hapless Shias in Pakistan. This is something that the Pakis do not want the world to know and put up a show of fighting terrorism tooth and nail.

HAnuman, EVERY Surah of Quran on fighting Non-Muslims is in situation of aggression by them.
Islam, by Default, declares Peace ... "Lakum Deenukum Waliye Deen" ...for you your faith, for me mine.
But Islam does not tolerate aggression, and as non-muslims attack, Islam asks muslims to rise over fears, and fight back.

There are many countries on planet earth. Each country is having different rulers (some democratic, some dictatorship, some kings, etc). There are more than 2000 religions the world over having their own god/gods! Smimlarly there could be many parts to heaven/hell, each controlled by different gods. The gods and/or their accredited agents may be waiting at the entrance of heaven/hell (some sort of no-man's land) to catch hold of the "souls" and push them into heaven/hell according to the discretion of those gods!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Beachy Babes, the frist thing muslims are taught is that The Koran is irrefutable revealation of Allah and there is no need to read anything else.
The first act of Taliban after taking over control of Afghanistan was to burn all books in a public square. They even closed down schools and also broadcast over TV. Owning a TV in Afghanistan was a crime when Taliban was in control.

I was a non Muslim who studied Islam with open mind. I was so impressed with it that everything else looks immature before Islam to me. I am an engineer BTW
So broadly speaking, world is made up of two types on non-muslims ...those who learn Islam properly, and embrace it....and those who never try to, and only spread false rumours about it

1. Publishing Derrogatory cartoons of Prophet is evil, and if west persists in this EVIL, All Muslims will ure fight this Evil and establish Justice.
2. Jazia is only 4% tax. which other system imposes so little tax on any of its subjects
3. Life in hereafter involves similar companionship as here in this world. This is true of both Man and Women in Jannah
4. Responsibilites assigned to men and women for success are the same. Hence Men and Women are equal in Islam. Testimony etc are issues related to social model in which people live. It does not decise equality issue
5. Islam never supports forced conversion. Muslims do not convert out of Islam becaue there are only animalist idols, and Father/Mother/Aunte Gods outside it

All the duties and responsibilities assigned to women are same as those to Men for success in this world. That establishes Woman as equal to man.
Woman gets less in inheritence but then she gets Meher that man does not get. So on the wole both are at par in this model

My Dear please say something about these verses from Koran . Still you think that Islam is the first wonder of the world ?
Sura (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Suras 9 and 5 are the last "revelations" that Muhammad handed down.
Sura (9:5) "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them..." Prayer and charity are among the Five Pillars of Islam, as salat and zakat. See below.
Sura (9:12) - (Continued from above) "But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion" This confirms that Muhammad is speaking of conversion to Islam.
Sura (2:193) - "And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion be only for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers." The key phrase is to fight until "religion be only for Allah."
