RE:How about the genocide of India which is now acceptable
by D S on Mar 19, 2008 09:02 PM  Permalink
Within India too, the awards of for Filmfare don't happen in Indian language but due to hate for national language by few sections of India. Foreign language is more acceptable. So India is example of living Cultural genocide that Indians want. The west including USA is cultural melting pot going the western way. Even though the diversity people between their choice for Indian values and daily survival try to buy some India/Asian stuff but this struggle does not last long. The mind games, economic reality and laws of ghoras take over. India is economically incapable of banning Indians going to west or foreign countries for livelihood. Neither have we Indians occupied vast spaces of land all over the world. Islam and other religions proliferated all the way to Malaysia/Indonesia, it makes it easier for some to proliferate/accepted on basis of religion though Arabs have lesser need to emigrate due to being better off than the South-Asians.
Neither Bobby Jindal or Obama profess their original faith at birth. Seems like even India could be heading that way unless there is spurt of some innovative thinking that give economic boost and something that joins all Indians.

Dirty Chinese designs

China has the expansionist Policy in this part of the world .Indians and specially Communists in India realise earlier the better.Pakistan is being used by China against India to its own benefit. It has helped Pakistan to develop its nuclear program, but it will soon boomerang. The inhuman crushing of Tibet's culture by Communists in China has been condemned worldwide.

Expansionist China

Tibet annexed , and then eyes on Sikkim and Nagaland and wanting to annex much more! Chinese minds know no bounds annexing anything they can dream of .Killing un-armed poor Tibetians with the mighty ammunition is what should feel anyone hang heads in shame. But seems Chinese love killings. They are worst than the word "danger"itself. To hell with Chinese expansion and to hell with the chinese ways of killings poor unarmed people.Tibet is only for Tibetians and enire world must help Tibetians to see that the invader China is ousted earliest.

I do not know whether I am correct, but I feel that only Tibetians can help themselves. It is not worthy to practise non violence with a monster like China. The Tibetians should adopt the policies followed by the Vietcong (I am sure that communists all over the world, including in India and China, will approve of those tactics as they did when those tactics were used by the Vietcong), and work to throw away the Chinese oppression. I know this may be against the Tibetian ethos, but even the Vietnamese are largely Buddhists and 50 years of non-violence have not produced any sense of shame in the Chinese dragon. It is time perhaps for the younger generation of Tibetians to chalk out a more pragmatic and decisive course of action.

Dalai Lama complains about cultural Genocide by China
by D S on Mar 19, 2008 08:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dalai Lama could be right about the rights of Tibetans. Can they Tibetans get autonomy in current situation? We wish him all the best.

Hope Indian economy is capable of giving opportunity to all NRIs. Why? Dalai Lama needs to look with a global perspective. There is nothing African about African-Americans is USA except their skin colour that they cannot remove and few black rhetorics. Their lifestyles or lingo is not African.
Same with Indians that live abroad, they might wear Indian dress but their ability to fight the Ghora system is fades over decades. Does Dalai Lama knows what happens to Tibetans who live in West? They have to comply with the West system or be economically out casted over time.
It is not like India where they can live for centuries and still preserve their culture and infact make the mainstream learn a bit about their beliefs. In fact the Indo-Aryans living in deeper areas of India learnt local languages in India, local cultures, religion, etc.

China needs freedom
by Kris Iyer on Mar 19, 2008 08:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A third world war is a possibility if nations don't unite and voice against this minority Chinese govt. The citizens of China themselves don't support this few little communist group who are dominating, exploiting their lives for decades.

Boycott Chinese goods!
by Deep Indian on Mar 19, 2008 08:46 PM  Permalink

It's time that all the developed countries take a pledge to boycott Chinese goods. It may affect the economy a bit in short run but will not lead to starvation. However, Chinese can be starved to death by bocotting their goods wholly and totally. Now its Tibet..tomorrow it will be Arunachal, Manipur, Nagaland etc. There will be no stopping once the Commy juggernaut starts rolling..
