India allowed Dalai Lama since US had assured support against China. US backtracked against the promise and Nehru had not made Indian army self-sufficient. That's the history why we have Lama problem. Why US does give asylum to Dalai Lama? After all if they can bomb Baghdad, they can as well bomb Beijing.

he is really really good and doesnt lie.. he is a spiritual leader but not a politician ofcoarse...
He is a great man, who always beleives in peace..
till now he is the one to stop any sort of violence in Tibet. Now tibetans themselves are going out of control of Dalai Lama, they dont have patience what is being taught by Dalai Lama. India shld either fully support tibet or China.. should say yes at both the sides...
ba bye

Hi All - The Tibetans are the only refugees who have not caused any major problem in India. Infact the Special Frontier Force consisting of Tibetan refugees did splendid work during the Bangladesh war by operating behind enemy lines. India had promised them that they were being trained only to fight against China but then when the hour of need came the Special Frontier Forces were more than willing to fight for India and they had then said that they were the children of Mother India too

'Wlid Swans' is an excellent book, written by Jung Chung about the life in China in this Centurary.

Highly recomemded book as it has first-hand experiences of a women and her past 2 generations.

It is banned in China as the writer has written all FACTS about the communist Govt prevailing today.

How about if we good Indians ask China to relinquish Tibet and take over India instead for few years. It will reduce so much hate between Indians when the see Red Army over their head.
India is an example of already happened Cultural genocide that is hard to correct and it's exibit is hate amongst indians for each other.

Tibetan Unite !1
by kamal kapur on Mar 19, 2008 09:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All said and done, the need of the hour for all Tibetans residing in India and Nepal is to rush to Tibet and join their struggling brothers there rather than issuing statements in exile !
At least, India will be ridden of one cancerous problem created by Jawahar Lal Nehru, which unfortunately spoilt our relationship with China who could have been our biggest econimic partner to defeat the west in their desire to conquer the east.
Come on, my Tibetan brothers and sisters, your destination should be Lahsa and not Dharamsala or Majnu ka Tila !!
Aa ab laut chale, tuj ko pukare desh tera !!
You people want freedom - you will have to go to Tibet to get it - you cant get it by sitting in India !!

What about Kashmiri pandit ? You people have draged them out of there homes. You people are now eating fruits of peace with prosperity. What hell you will get, going alonge with Pak. You must have seen the condition of so called Azad Kashmir sorry Gulam Kashmir. As now few Kashmiri left in Gulam Kashmir than Panjabis or Pakies. You people should be gratefull to India that they have not allowed you let annexe Kashmir to Pak in name of religion. In Pak only the Panjabis are prosperous then rest of Pak. Only Punjabies rule Pak not others parts. What is the condition of Mohajirs in Pak?.

Dont compare kashmiris with tibeteans. Kashimiri people have been given ample of rights. No Non Kashmiri can buy land in kashmir. No no Kashmiri can do business in kashmir. If talking about kashimiri peopl then pls talk about kashimiri pundits too who are rotting in refugee camps in Delhi

HU JINTAO IS A WELL KNOWN BUTCHER OF TIBET! WHAT IS UNO?? UNO IS USA AND CHINA! WHATEVER THEY WISH HAPPENS! INDIAN GOVT IS A RAT IN SHEEP'S SKIN! WHEN KARGIL WAS HAPPENING THE GOVT SAID EVERYTHING WAS OK WHEN IT WAS NOT! AND THEN SITUATION IN KARGIL WORSENED IT TURNED TO A HUGE WAR WHERE MANY OF OUR BELOVED HEROES, OUR ARMY JAWANS HAD TO SACRIFICE THEIR LIVES. NOW SIMILAR IS HAPPENING IN ARUNACHAL WHERE CHINESE ARE SLOWLY INVADING IT AND MADE THEIR INTENTIONS SO PUBLIC RIGHT ON THE FACE OF PM MANMOHAN SINGH. STILL THE GOVT PRETEND IT HAS HEARD OR SEEN NOTHING. OUR MILITARY IS BRAVE BUT OUR SHEEP MINISTERS AND SOME CORRUPT POLITICIANS FUNDED BY COMMUNISTS ARE LETTING THEIR SACRIFICE GO IN VAIN BY NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THEIR SACRIFICES AT BORDER BY STAYING MUM AND DEAF ON THE CHINESE INCURSIONS AT THE BORDER. NOW THE THREAT HAS BECOME WIDER AS CHINA EXCERCISES MORE CONTROL OVER POLITICS AND ADMINISTRATION IN NEPAL!! INDIAN GOVERNMENT IS SHEEP!! WISH IT WAS WOLF TO COUNTER THE THREAT FROM HYENAS ACROSS THE BORDER!!

China the external enemy number 1 & Commies the internal enemy
by Bala on Mar 19, 2008 09:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

China is Indias number one enemy. If India can somehow ally with USA & Russia all our border disputes will vanish including the kashmir issue. Porkistan will not dare to utter the K word. All the north east problem will also vanish in thin air.The naxal problem within India will also disappear. Holy Dalai lama is a symbol of peace & universal love.

I agree that China is India's adversary and a potential threat. That's why our strategic planners have built long range Agni missiles. But I fail to understand how is a banished theocrat struggling to regain power becomes symbol of peace and universal love?

His Holiness in not struggling for power he is struggling for freedom - Freedom for his country - Freedom for his People - Freedom to practice his culture and religion in his own country & he wants to achieve it the non Violent way.

Agni is useless and can be intercepted. It can still not hit shanghai and beijing. Hitting Tibet wont bother chinese and we would not want to do that.

Once we develop the capability to develop Shanghai/beijing, the so called border problem in arunachal pradesh will automatically go away.

Having china next to Indian border claiming/annexing India`s land is lesser of a threat to you than having long range agni missiles?

You don't even have a point. And quit comparing his theocracy with your perception of what peace and universal love is.
