Save both India and Tibet from Genocide, oh Dalai Lama else we would be bygones native indians who are fashion items for Hollywood and Capitol Hill with their Asian link history distorted

How many Indians want to wear Indian dress? All the movie actors are shy of wearing Indian dress. Atleast Tibetans try to keep some dress identity.

Within India too, the awards of for Filmfare don't happen in Indian language due to hate for national language by few sections of India. Foreign language is more acceptable. So India is example of living Cultural genocide that Indians want. The west including USA is cultural melting pot going the western way. Even though the diversity people between their choice for Indian values and daily survival try to buy some India/Asian stuff but this struggle does not last long. The mind games, economic reality and laws of ghoras take over. India is economically incapable of banning Indians going to west or foreign countries for livelihood. Neither have we Indians occupied vast spaces of land all over the world. Islam and other religions proliferated all the way to Malaysia/Indonesia, it makes it easier for some to proliferate/accepted on basis of religion though Arabs have lesser need to emigrate due to being better off than the South-Asians.
Neither Bobby Jindal or Obama profess their original faith at birth. Seems like even India could be heading that way unless there is spurt of some innovative thinking that give economic boost and something that joins all Indians.
Aghaar Obama American hoo ghyaa thoo kyaa Africa Americanize hoo jhayeega. Kyaa Obama USA kaaha naaya coverup hooga jhisseey yeeha apnaa designs kooha prolong kharengeey.

Makes me Mad
by sri on Mar 19, 2008 11:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bhatt infuriates me with her questions.
She asks "You were given a refugee status with the condition that you will not indulge in any political activity. Why do we see so many political activities in Dharamshala?"

How dare she needle him like that. Is she speaking for the Marxists in India?

We must support the Tibetans
by Vemuri Srikanth on Mar 19, 2008 10:51 PM  Permalink

We have come a long way Gandhi. He would have stood by his principles even at the costy of his life.
The present day has brought much more prsperity to India than he could have imagined. Many benefit from the overflowing riches.
But sticking to ideals? At least remotely? NO
The present governments pay lip service to his ideas ,while brazenly paying homage to China.
.Ignore its incursions into our land ,take all of the communists' claims of territory seriously, ignore the violence being perpetrated in China on Tibetans ,on ITS OWN PEOPLE ,and concentrate only on the economic benefits accruing out of its relationship with the Politburo. We are busy getting close with the leaders(great ones they surely are) but not with the people.Such short sighted policies will never do any good.
Please, stop being timid and too clever for your own good. Do what is right in the case of China. Stop stooping to its ill gotten power

Why be afraid
by PicKool on Mar 19, 2008 10:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

'India should stand up and say that you (China) have no business to talk about it. Tawang belongs to India. Why is this issue lingering on?'

This is because Indian Politicians wet their pants whenever they think of China. They dont reliase India is stronger. And even if it is not, still why should we be afraid??

Support Tibet
by gregory naik on Mar 19, 2008 10:31 PM  Permalink

I completely agree with Tibetan leader Samdhong Rinpoche i think he knows China very well... The main purpose of China to keep control on Tibet is its resources and they dont want to to give up on it... if Inia does not stand up today against the chineses that will for sure send a wrong signal about our capabilities, being in contention for super power in the region looks far far away, we need to make the chinese realise that they are not the boss in the regiona nd they cannot do whatever they want, this is the time to take lead and silent the chinese and also act firmly on the border issue I dont beleive that the talks are at all going to resolve the issues. If we support Tibet today beleive me we will have a huge wall between us and China if there is any attempt of agression from China over the border issue which is sure going to happen in the years to follow because if we dont raise our voice today they are going continues their ways of expansions upto the India regions, so are we oing to run then if not then why stop now.
Its time for India to rise against China's evil plans.
I wont blame any political parties on this issue, but i would beleive that all the Political parties should stand together and issue the statement against Chinses over tibet and Arunachal Pradesh.
