China should declare the Independence of Tibet and China should quit Complete Tibet before Olympics then only the Beijing and Olympics would be trustworthy, otherwise in futre Olympics would remain only the showbiz of power and money and not the Sports meet for humanism, humanity, equality & justice. All the nations and the World Leaders should force China-the East Asian subcontinent nation to quit Tibet - the Central Asian Highland Subcontinent. Tibet was never be the part of China; Tibet was captured by China. So China should set Tibet Free and Tibet must be the Independent Nation. It will be better for stability and mutual co-operation in Asia. so please support & spread 'Free Tibet Movement ..... the Independence of Tibet'...
After carefully reading the dialogue, I really feel shocked. It makes me rethink the tibetans living in India. What kind of groups these people are doing in India. The guy interviewed seems to be sophisticated in politics instead of his buddism scriptures. He knows well of different govt benefits, and he's also doing well balancing with them. I even think Tibet's riot was under of their scheme to memorize their uprise 50 years ago. I quite understand these group of Tibetans could be one tactic to restrain China's aggression in Hindo-China border, but it should not be the reason for these Indian tibetans to violate the human rights in China's Tibet.

Well... you have mentioned what you "feel" or what you "think". Read Tibet history first. Know their past... what they have been through and how India and Neheru have betrayed them ... Even after that they never speak anything against India. They are our "Guests" not "Refugees". We should help them with whatever way we can.

I don't wish our Govt involved in so many nonsense affairs, and the most important thing is to rise up instead of squeezing for these ugly Tibetans. First the India needs to give up the beaten up mindset and east vs west ideology. Power hungry and shameless Congress under Left and Jihadi blackmail is again behaving like obideint cow in front of China. The precise mistake Nehru made by supporting china. We need to think in terms of our political expansion and our own world ambitions. By acting like a cow in the mosaic of so called EAST dictacted by china is not going to help India at all. India needs to stand-up, firm-up, actaully behave like a world power and not like third world state. Unless India and its coward leaders learns to be aggressive with China and with our looser neighbours, we can never ever be a world power.
China poses a great threat to India's future as: 1) China on our doorstep fearlessly claiming India's NE land 2) China having direct boundry with Pakistan supplying them all support for fight against India 3) China controlling almost all rivers flowing into India from Tibet controlling agriculture, industries, power generation, floods in India's eastern states. 4) China supplying arms/money to Left for anti-India activities giving India a permanent headach for how many more years. 5) Chinese betrayed India, made mockery of India's peace initiatives/support in 60s, attacked India and stole India's land.

China has got the best leadership i have seen so far. I would like to have strong friendships with chinese.they are not enemies as that 1960s have passed thru long before .Now we are living in 2008 and we need there support in achieving our dreams. As of now China is a superpower and a highly advanced economy. I fully support Chinese Crackdown on Tibetans mongers who are invloved in rioting,looting and killing innocent citizens.Indian government has done a great job by supporting Chinese in their hour of need and controlling anti China protests in India.

Being an Indian, look at China from Indian perspective and I am sure you will support Free and Independent Tibet. Independent Tibet is in India's security interest. Tibetan premier-in-exile is telling absolute truth. India and China can never be friends with present Chinease communist leadership.
One of the reason china is capturing all himalayan kingdome is India has failed to reconginse its spiritual region and develop them. China knows that these places atract foreign tourists like magnet and billions could be earned every years. All they have to do is build infrastructure. We are still sleeping. Wont be surprise if after Tibet China offers Nepal the best high ways, road and Nepal govt. easily accept the offer. Since promoting tourism is only way to mint money in these places. Forget about abour neighbouring region. We have not build infrastructre inside india which atract tourist. For example Puna osho ashram. It atracts lakh of tourist every year who come bring foreign currency to india. It has created jobs for atleast 1000s in puna. Yet maharashtra govt. has shamlessly done nothing to make sure that road neary by ashram are peaceful, good. So that more tourist come, enjoy, and stay longer. So we have more revenue coming in our economy. What a shame. Wait for a dacade and see china would capture all thsese places and mint even more money.
