What is the use of analysing the issue of North Indian versus Maharastrians? What does the author waht to show? As it is, the rift between them is growing big, U r adding fuel to the fire. Who fought for whom, doesnt matter. Those who fought, they did so for India.If the author thinks that India should be divided into many states, then fine...write more and see the result. Why doesnt anyone has guts to point out the Politicians who are the truse cause behind all this bitterness?What has been done to make Bihar prosperous? why didnt anyone do anything for Bihar to make it liveable?? What has been done for UP? Why MNCs are not coming there? Why was Reliance Fresh Burnt and looted?Why Indusries not being set up in North, as its being set up in Chennai, Maharashtra(Pune, Mumbai etc), why Politicians are not paying attention? No state is anyone's property, all Indians are responsible for the betterment or Bitterment. It is just because they want to rule the suppressed Janta.thats all.
Raj and Bala are playing marathi cards. They should learn lesson from history. Migrants should not come to Maharashtra/Mumbai if this logic was applied in 500 years before Chhatrapati Shivajis ancestors would have not come to Maharashtra. Shivaji ( a migrant form Rajasthan %u2013 Refer book Shivchhatrapati by Baba Saheb purandare) trained them in warfare and was able to win suntans and mughals. After his death maratha following his war tactics started winning/rulling almost entire India. But they could not make people/warrior of other parts of India( in which Shivaji was master) to be on their side. The effect was seen in Panipat war, in which they could not convince other community to fight form their side.
Raj and Bala are not mixing themselves with other community of India (because of superiority complex %u2013 without doing any superior thing) are leading Marathi mannos/community towards disaster. Marathi manoos should do introspection in understand this.
I don't know what development in Maharashtra this retired Colonel is talking about. He is talking about Maharashtra as though it is California where everyone is dying to get into.There are some questions which beg the answer. Why is interior maharashtra so hopeless? Why are so many farmers committing suicide in Vidarbha while Sharad Pawar (the agriculture minister) is making merry in IPL? There was a song in that movie Rang De Basanti:
Khalbali hai khalbali...
Vidarbha farmers should sing the same song with the words:
This's a good article showing real side of the story...The problem was made bigger by media for own gains....unfortunately viewers were the loosers...no one can forget the lives that Marathi people have paid to give birth to Maharashtra with Mumbai as capital under senseless congress rule!
