by sikhizindabad on Mar 18, 2008 09:23 PM  Permalink

aruchal perdesh. is part of south tibet. Thats why china claim it since we have declare that tibet is china part. The state is very rich in water resources. India will need in coming future. But it has no balls in secure it. It can only show balls by picking up innocent Sikh girl from Patiala so that corrupt baba in sirsa can be allowed not coming to courts , parading in media that 21 year old sikh girl as human bomb without investigation. So security of baba be tighten in dera only. And he may enjoys with his gobis in dera only. SHame to be part of such socity

Tibet: Should India be more pro-active?
by Ashish Kumar on Mar 18, 2008 09:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mrs. Indira Gandhi corrected the faulty policy of Nehru vis-a-vis going nuclear. It ultimately benefitted the country. May be Sonia Gandhi also should correct the mistake made by Nehru on Tibet.

We demand Sonia Gandhi to intervene in the matter. Madam, please throw out all sycohants around you and build a new India. We all repose our faith in you. All other politicians are scroundels. They are selling this country. Please save us.

Exploit the divide between the west and China
by Astute Analyst on Mar 18, 2008 09:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

America is deliberately trying to destablize China by raking up Tibet issue. We should be careful. Who knows Kashmir may be the next in line if our interests diverge at any point of time with US? We remember 1962 but forget the history of 19th century. Western powers, in order to protect their hegemony, often use Asian powers to fight among themselves. Having said that China is certainly a potential threat and must be contained. India should prgmatically maximize its national interest by expoliting the divide between the west and China.

Tibet
by Rama Ganesh on Mar 18, 2008 09:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Considered to be the roof of the world, Tibet is strategic to China, both in terms of geography and military. China is sure to become a threat to the world and mark my words, could well one day be the cause of unimaginable distruction and misery. The Chinese are ruthless and brutal and the world will ignore imminent Chinese domination only at its own peril. India, for the time being cannot antagonize China and open another hostile front in its borders (the other being Pakistan), but should be mindful of the fact that China will definitely be a threat to the very existence of this country in the long run. Indian foreign policy, while being pragmatic, should also reflect this opinion about China around the world and work towards preventing the Chinese hegemony in the Indian sub-continent, at least in the long run.

No need to have any aggressive designs on China. God is great and China will surely pay for its sins. The day is not far when China will break up like the Soviet Union. The same will happen to India if we let the cummies run the government.

We live in glass houses
by Kunal Mukherjee on Mar 18, 2008 09:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

How will we Indians respond to Chinese stones which shatter our piousness by pointing to killing of Sikhs in Punjab, killing of Muslims in Gujrat, Nandigram, Raj Thackeray's shenanigans against North Indians, ULFA's stand that the Ahoms are under Indian occupation, a sentiment which is also echoed by Kashmiris, Nagas, Mizos and a host of other nationalities including some Tamils? For good or for bad, our nation decided to acquiesce to the Chinese contention that Tibet was theirs. 50 years have passed since that acceptance. We have killed a lot of our people to keep our concepthood of the Indian nation alive. Who are we to call the kettle black? History has its own compulsions since it cannot be revised. It is best to keep quiet since silence is ambiguous.

Tibet and China
by akshay gupta on Mar 18, 2008 09:11 PM  Permalink

India is seeing China for economic reasons and also as a military threat as China is 10 times more superior to India.
Besides when even a country like USA is mum knowing that Bush will go to Olympic games, it is the end of the civilised world. Yet another holocause like the killing of the jews and the world is quiet once again.
The worst part is that Europe sits quiet and this is the saddest thing. How much can US do for the world? Should US be the only one spending money? What about Japan or Australia or NZ(whose economy runs on Chinese students money!)??
India cannot protect and appreciate a writer like Taslima who speaks the truth for the Hindus and gives an insight into the attrocities on the Hindus in bangladesh so what should India care for the Tibetans despite these peach loving people appreciating India and giving it such happiness due their turning of the wheel.
India has little safeguards for AIDS/BIRD FLU/SARS/ASSOCIATED diseases which China has suffered more than India. This is because of its Hindus and secular status for all people which muslims will never understand.
What about the middle east? They would only want to rape the Tibetan girls and probably plant few bombs. How sick Islamic people are.
Hence India must do something for these hapless people.
The chinese killed one million Indian soldiers in the 1962 war and raped many women in border areas. We now reward them by keeping quiet. Well done India. Keep it up.

You seeem to be a khalistani. Despite Punajb being the richest state of India and pm being a sikh, I guess your community just like the muslims will never be happy.
If sikhs are so unhappy why not emigrate to Afhanistan and live there? After all the hindus are the original people of India and your religion is only 500 years old!!

Mr. Gupta, it's wrong to condemn the entire sikh community for a handful of misguided elements. Sikhs are a part and parcel of Indian culture and Sikhs are our brothers. Sikhs and hindus are like flesh and blood that cannot be separated. Just because a few fools are talking about Khali-stan (as the name itself suggests it will remain a "khali" stan, a vacant place/dream) that is never going to be inhabited by mankind. Please do not write ill of the sikh community of which we Indian can definitely be proud of.

Correct!! What can you accept from a govt which does not have enough courage to debunk China when its openly says that Arunachal Pradesh does not belong to India. The Indian Govt didn't even have the Guts to respond to that. With Spineless govt what can we more expect?
