That we can't hang a person is because of political considerations and not because of any inherent military or economic weaknesses. As far as china is concerened Mr. deb, if you watch news, you'll know tthat recently in a face off with the Indian army in Bhutan, it's the chinese who backed down. Stop licking the Chinese boots as many people in your state do and start being more Indian.

bhimsen, i dint mention abt communism should be replacing democracy in india and infact communism isnt the only option to replace democracy. all what im saying is democracy is a major failure in india and we have to accept that instead of justifying and beating your chest with false pride. jus bcoz we had it for so long. accept out failure with democracy and explore other new options to go ahead which would make use our human resource without any disparity, which could be parecon or anything.ur comparison of communism with laziness shows ur ignorance. communism dosnt mean u dont do any work but get ur daily bread that's wrong, but to get ur bread every one has to work.

Now that India has failed to qualify for the Olympics in hockey, a boycott will be beneficial. We should take a leaf out of history. The Brits did not build the railways for Indians but in the end, we benefitted. Same way, in support of the Tibetan cause, we can boycott the Olympics and in history we can say that since we did not participate we did not win.

India has a most disgusting caste social system. How can you say India has a better society than China. In China, at least everybody has chance to advance in their life. What is the chance for Indian Untouchable to advance? I have watched a documentary about India Untouchable on SBS in here Australia. The caste system is most inhuman and disgusting. No society like this even in Iraq, Sudan or North Korea.For those low caste untouchable people, not only they do not have the chance but their children and children's children do not have chance. From the document, I can see that India is so uncivilised, so poor and I can not see there is any future for Indian if you live in such society. What a pitty.

what has democracy proved in india after 60 yrs democratic governance? we lead the in no. of undernourished children, lead in no. of deaths in pregnancy,we are in the race to lead more number of hunger deaths, we lead in farmers committing suicide.what is use of democracy we still have the same family sitting as PM since independence barring very few yrs. and the plight of ppl have gone down, democracy gives way to abuse the weaker by stronger thats it, which will in turn make the rich, richer n the poor, poorer. democracy is not good for a country like india where it has enormous human resource, india will grow only if all its human resource equally participates in its progress which is not possible in democracy.
For all India's claim for great power status let alone a super power, nothing reveals India as a wimp more than its Tibetan policy, or should I say lack of policy? When the British ruled Tibet, it was all but British but in name. British Post Offices operated in Tibet. China might have had a historical association with it as one of its former conquests, but they did not labour the point with the super power of the day. Its claim to Tibet was as its outlandish as its claim on Arunchal Pradesh which India is meekly negotiating China's claim. That says it all for India's pathetic administrations. To make matters worse India's nationalists in the BJP conceded China's claim. India's leaders are not fit for the purpose. I ask what has India actually achieved in foreign policy with independence. Precious little except that it produced small people whose sole aim has been their vanity in strutting the world stage. Its about time we had military rule in India. That the Chinese and the Pakistani's really understand. Lets have less of this nonesense about India as the world's greatest demoncracy. i would settle any for China's brutal method because they work for their country's interests. Is India's military listening or is it sleeping on the job?
Nothing is ruining this country more then people like Neha, these are the ones who feels that just by saying something extremely stupid can attract people's attention. They feel that swearing is cool, they feel that self respect/pride/esteem are vices and they should be discarded. They are of no use to this country, at least a hooker is giving pleasure to some body, but people like her are absolutely useless. They are like vegetables, like dogs who can only bark but cannot bite, like an infertile female, or a man with erectile dysfunction. They should be totally and completely exterminated.

Who knows how many children in China are malnourished? The world did not know the truth about Russia before glasnost and its rapid disintegration.
Agreed there are lot of ills in the country but these have to be sorted out by us. Britishers did not solve them and neither did mughals. And going forward neither would China or US for that matter even if we were to invite them to rule us.
It is us people who need to vote for good governance and not by caste or religion.

even after 60 yrs independence, we cant even provide basic living necessities to major junk of our citizens.leave alone necessities there are junk of proper indians living in our country dont even have a ration card. this is the state we are in. this what governance of democracy has given us which is a an absolute failure. first we have to accept our failure and then look out for change in the govt setup instead of just beating our chest that we are great by false pride.
