China is the 'East Asian' country and Tibet is the part of'Central Asian Highlands Subcontinent'. Tibet was never be the part of China; Tibet was captured by China. Also Linguistically China and Tibet are different. China has been suppressing Tibetans for a long time. Also China is succeeding to entrap India by all directions by providing utmost helps to our surrounding countries. China should respect Regional Identity and Humanism. On the eve of Olympics-the sports meet for Peace, Love, Justice and Humanism China should declare the Independence of Tibet.India should convince the World to set Tibet Free. All the World Leaders should pressurize China to declare the Independence of Tibet. Please support and spread "Free Tibet Movement ..... the Independence of Tibet!"
My historians consider that the fall of tibet is the most disasterous event that happend to india in 1950s the country which didnt had any common border with china had to bargain with about its own land. We strongly know that china has occupied tibet for its natural resources. And all the tibetians were discriminated in china. I was really surprised to know that more than 2500/year cross the china border to enter india (bribing the china officails to cross the border) to enter india. If China is really flourishing then why would the people of tibet cross the border to enter india which may lead to death. I know that america have lot intrests in destabilizing china. here the point is not america. its india which has to take the decision.
The people were asking for their rights and if the democratic nations dont help them then who will help them. The biggest mistake that india did was to accept the tibet to be a part of china. Tibet was a free nation and i know whether many of u know that india reqested tibet to recognise as an independent nation when tibet was free.
Stratergically if tibet gets independence the most benefiting nation will be india. it can avoid the biggest threat china. I know that is very difficult to achieve but atill india can atleast oppose the misbehavior of china towards tibetians. give them moral support. With CPM around, who needs China or Pakistan ? They think India should give up Kashmir or forget Tibetan cause forever. Hitting a raw nerve of India has never been easier for CPM.
CPM knows to divide and conquer. But, sadly, we can't seem to *express* unity on essential principles.
UPA and NDA need to unite when necessary. They do express agreement on some principles like Tibet, nuke deal, Taslima. YES, 1) at least UPA tried to push the US deal. YES, 2), at least NDA tried to tell China what we remember about Tibet. And YES, 3) both Congress and BJP want to keep India united including Kashmir valley, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, etc.
You know what the REAL problem is? NO, the Congress and BJP are not able to espress a common stand on the most basic issues. This hurts almost every Indian very bad. Almost every Indian NEEDS a future independent nation of Tibet. Not really to protect ourselves from China, but actually to uphold our own cultural roots and ethos. We need to understand the difference between Tibet and Kashmir. The same philosophy that will earn independence for Tibet will (ultimately) earn the respect and admiration of Kashmiris. Kashmiris can choose non-violent protest and we must choose non-violent security measures. When Kashmiris see this, they will automatically recognize that they are in the same boat with India.
