The comparison of the prisoner and the left parties is not valid. The prisoner was given punishment whereas the Congress has kept the Left too in power all this time or given it the option for an election where it can prove itself. Its two soft options.
If the Indian Government is supporting the yeild price to farmers, writing off the debts and subsidising the fertiliser, easy finance to farmer will not put the country into debt trap. Every Senior polititician earned more than one lac crore of ruppee. if their assets were confiscated by the Indian Government that is sufficient to feed the poor for many more decades. Income Tax should be bring down to the Defence department under the control of Military or RAW, instead under Home Or Finance Ministry. So they can earth all the corrupted politician & the corrupted Burocrats. Inflation was pushed beyond the tolerable levels. Every citizen was driven to corruption one way or other to avoid their sins. The system should be changed. For Instance the farmer at Tiruttani put a sugar cane, since the permit is not available from ;the Government he sold to the mill employee at Rs 450/- a Tonne in the year 2007 where the mill price is Rs 1000/- a tonne. So farmer was looted in many ways of their ignorance. politicians without any background earning lacs of crores is not good. It is going to spin them one day or other day. They cannot escape., For every rise to fall.
I think it is about time that the Left were put to a true test. Do they care about India's interests or are they simply not willing to step off their agenda for the good of the nation. They have to be given a chance to prove that they are loyal to India. This is the best opportunity for the Congress to put their foot down and show some character by ignoring forces that are simply not interested in the good of the nation.
Today's Congress (which is a family business run on "aam aadmi's" efforts, resources and name) and Communists (hypocrites, as ever) are the biggest troublemakers in India.
Let us hope for a strong national alternative in the next election.
The mess created by Congress is anti-national. Leftists could have been paid in a different way also but this is a damage on our economy. Now, even if NDA comes, I wish they discard this anti-national budget.

Making an announcement that Pan will be benefiting, but indirectly benefiting Bob and taxing Peter later to bear the cost - and all the good name on this goes to Cong and bad name to others.

I guess it is we the fortunate educated well off people who get a chance to express our views here. We must look at the other 80% of our countryfolk most of whom are poor farmers who will benefit from this budget and they are the ones who need all the help they can get. The situation in our country cannot get any better unless we learn to share our growth with the poor folk. The economic disparity in India is huge. While we have millionaires on one hand, we have farmers committing suicide because they can't pay off their loans. I do not mind paying a little extra tax if it goes to make a poor farmer's life any better. It is also important to understand that such kind of economic disparity is a great threat to our society and is something that we need to overcome at all costs if we are to see a truly progressive India.
RE:THIS WILL BE END OF THE LEFT PARTIES

I dont understand what ideology the Left are pursuing and what they think they are going to achieve with that? Can any one of you please explain to us as to what is so great that the Left has in mind?
The Communist parties of India are no more ideologues as their counterparts in EU are; .e.g. european commies have pressed for communism with human face, transfer of power through democratic means and not blood-shed, they protested strongly the armed intervention of the then USSR in Poland, Hungery, Czeco. Afghanistan etc. The Indian commies are nonprincipled and brainless flock. For years they have been teaching their followers the principle of 'prosperity without hard-work' and undermining the work-culture in their dominated states. Their coallition with Congress at the center is a post-election and resulted out of the impending threat posed by the then NDA govt. to their vote-banks full of Bangladeshi infiltrators in upper Assam. Remember their collective opposition to the Assam illigal immigrants (identification and deportation) act and its subsecquent amendment by the UPA govt.(stalled by the H'ble SC of India) which rests the responsibility of identification of intruders over the true citizens of the Indian Union. Added to that their recent behaviour is anlogus to that 'mere barking stray dog which was feeding on roadside dump-boxes but unexpectedly accustommed to royal dish' (i.e. vicinity of power centre and media focus dearth for last six decades of independance).

The left front is all set to make india a second home for Bangladeshis as it has been doing in Bengal for all the years in power! The centre should have stopped this a long time back, but the Hnble SC has had to do it. Development in WB has been a joke all these years and a new CM in power has tried to do something but has been rebutted by his own partymen, shocking to note that WB has the largest debt amongst all the states in INdia! we need a fwd thinking person like the PM to bail WB out of this mess like he did for the nation in 1993! Unfortunately there is no one in state politics whom the 'juta' can turn to!!!

MMS has proven that he always is an obedient follower - he followed the bosses (Govt.) in the Licence Permit Raj, he followed the bosses (IMF) in Lib, he follows his boss now too.

No matter who his bosses are, he has been true to his word and has served his nation well. I think MMS is an honest person and has done his best for the nation inspite of allies like the Left (and others).
If India wanna superpower and resolve Kashmir issue. The solution is go with western world. Use tit for tat tactics for China.
1. Help with nuke to Taiwan as China supply nuke to Pak. 2. Support East Turksthan freedosm movement and democracy movemnt which wll start civil war in China. 3. Force for merger of Tibet in India at any cost with anyones help like NATO. Bcoz Tibet was integral part of ascent India.
and result is upto 2050 China will be weeker nationa and India will be superpower.
