Where the mind is without fear
by Avinash on Mar 14, 2008 10:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow
domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the
dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought
      and action--
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Rabindranath Tagore

Is the god sleeping
by Avinash on Mar 14, 2008 10:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The god or Allah or the holy trinity (or whatever he/she is) did not bother when millions perished in WW-II. He did not bother when 30 lakhs Bengladeshi's died in 1971 at the hands of West Pakistan's armed forces, he did not bother when lakhs of innocents are killed in the name of non-existent WMDs in Iraq or when Chemical Ali killed 182000 khurds or when thousands of innocents are killed in bomb blasts and riots the world over! What a merciful creator we have. And still people believe that the has kept a "Paradise" full of good things for us in a life "here-after"!!!!!

Dear Ahmed, I am now reading the book "A thousand splendid suns"about Afghanistan (I forgot the authors name but he is a muslim settled in US looking after rehabilitation of refugees in UN) where wrote "for an Afghan he himself is the enemy he cannot defeat" or some thing like that. It is applicable to all. We are our own enemy. We cannot escape by passing the buck to some imaginary god! Believe in yourself and learn to accept responsiblity for your actions.

Why Pakistan takes Peace (some time) and wants Open boarders?
by KMR Overseas on Mar 14, 2008 10:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Pakistan has 30000(thirty thousand) madrassass since 20 years.
one madrassa can brainwash and produce atleast 200 suicide bombers or terrorists per year.
that is 30000x20x200=120000000 terrorists out in pakistani streets as of today.
If boarder opens, we can see all of them in our streets India.
who need open boarders???? let us think!!!!

Excess Religion -- No Vision In Life -- Muslims On Top
by Mind Clear on Mar 14, 2008 10:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The problem with people who talk too much about religion is that they have no vision in life -- Just one-law, uniform civil code, gender equality, human character and human values and keeping one's focus on talent, knowledge, performance and productivity is enough. Unfortunately, in this respect Muslims are the worst. Most of them have no clue of life and do not have the basic understanding that because of their own religion they are losing out in Life. 50% of world problems are bcoz of their stupidity. They go down and bring others down as well.

But my question is, our community has become the worst in crimes. I feel so sad about it.
We know Allah well, but not able to follow him.
