Wow,,WOW WOW its a great act of seeing the loops holes in law to the core, how does the police expect the poor mother to know Indian law before leaving her daughter to her known guardians. Every one of we Indians do this, when our family was going out, wont we leave our childrens to relatives(if required), its more common, do we need a low to this. The spineless Goan police is now trying to deviate the case by arresting innocent mother. The rape and murder is a plain crime, which is not solved. But now they are taking the smallest loop holes in law book to deviate the case. I strongly doubt drug mafia is involved in this murder(who are none other than some politicians) police is scared to take action agaings them, so they wanted to deviate as possible as they can. British Embassy should step into this case and those guilty should be punished, who the heck he may be. GOD SAVE US FROM CORRUPT POLICE AND POLITICIANS.

They are now planning to throw the mother in prison. This will send a clear signal to all that do not ever dare to expose any police cover-ups and goof-ups.
India took a high moral ground and decided to lecture Britain on racism when the Shilpa Shetty controvery erupted as a result of a television show. Now Britain gets to see India in action. Indians are the biggest hypocrites in the world and India is one of the worst nation in the world full of castism, chaos, curruption, non-compassion, pain, injustice and misery. I thank the God everyday for giving me a chance to get out of that place where justice, fairness and ethics are raped and murdered every single day.

Friend, I have no choice but to agree with you FULLY. Indians have one - JUST ONE - choice. Stop singing with the stinking indian politicians "east or west, india is the best". Then they need to agree to the fact that India is not so good and many things have to CHANGE. Then things may start changing

nitin, you are still living in wonderland. Indians are being raped and brutalized by their own governments and politicians. the whole system is in the junkyards. corruption is at its best in india, going from bottom right up to the top levels. lets face it. democracy is the curse that india lives with. indians are born slaves. they cant manage anything on their own, that is why they keep falling back on a stupid party which has no other indian leader but a foreigner to rule in remote control over them. A lot has to be done. corruption for one has to be shot down. lets start with that first. but..will that ever happen? ask yourself? you know what is the biggest joke in town. indians claiming they have freedom!
It is ahame for any Indian. In India crime rates will come down if Police personal are sincere. Police personal if found party in this sort of crime, they should be jailed for their remaning life period. Should not let them out at any cost. Besides our Constitution to be amended. If any person is commiting the offence on the 2nd time and if it is proved, he should not be let out of Jail for his/her remaining life period. Politicins who abbet Crime must be disqualified for ever from any Political Activity.
They can talk to this eye witness through teleconference..why they want to fly to anywhere in world...police don't want to do anythg but just travel around the world on an issue..

Good point! The police superintendent wants a free plane ride / vacation on people's money.
If these police are so efficient why they didn't get the autopsy results right in the first place?
seeing the pressure to cover up the case from all angles b both police and politicians,there is a storng belief its none other than the policemen who raped an killed this child.

People will have to take up the work of the police - to maintain law and order. And then we can also demand lower taxes.
