really sad!!!!100 rs..shameful....y would ne1 want to join army now..no wonder they are finding diff to get army men these days!!
I am surprised that Bana Singh is getting a pension of only Rs. 100. No government servant gets such a measly pension today. If Bana Singh has done the minimum pensionable service then he has to be getting the pension as per his last rank. Could rediff check and let readers know? It is sad if political parties use war heroes to score brownie points on each other.
Lastly, I notice his rank is mentioned as 'Naik Subedar' there is no such rank in the army. I am sure that you meant 'Naib Subedar'.
Why should congress care about a soldier of this country they will be better off on Page3 by serving Italians and helping Mr. Q. After all to give money t oMr. Q some one needs to sacrifice, let those people be the son of soil like Mr. singh

This is absolutely incredible. Just ask some retired soldier in your neighbouhood how much penssion is he drawing. You will come to know how people spread lies.Nb Sub Bana Sibgh will not only be drawing adequate penssion of a JCO but getting special benefits attached to his gallantary award.He is also entitled to travel in II AC rail free of cost in the country any number of times. You just need to look into the Army website or ask The Sainik Board people in you your township to tell you what all retirement benefits are being drawn by N/Sub Bana Singh. The pack of political lies will be proved. I urge Army Head Quarters to refute the hollow claims of the sympathizers by revealing the factual figures to the publica . How can a country like India with a multi billion dolar defence budget accept such a defamation?
