Mere dost, you people are completely brainwashed by your mullahs. the arabs are rich NOT because they are islamic states, but BECAUSE THEY HAVE OIL. And Pakistan doesn't have a drop of oil. do you know what are you talking about? Pak still calls itself an Islamic state. At least it is not 'Secular' or "Religion-less" like India or China, is it? Fact of the matter is, progress can be achieved only through education, advancement of science & technology and hard work. So if you think just making the sate 'Islamic' is going to act like a magic wand and going to bring prosperity....well, the Pakis have been thinking on these very same lines for the past 6 decades and you see where they are. At the bottom of a dried well which has no steps either! Badly stuck.

Islamic rule in other words democracy. Islamic rule follows the cocept of democracy. Every one has right to rule the country. equal rights to all irrespective of cast credd or religion. JIHAD - AGRESSION for building self and fighting against the wrong to eliminate it and to kill some body innnocent. I feel very pity about todays generation who just reads the title and goes on conclusion. it is better to go in depth of each and every thing and come to an conclusion. Friends, Islam, Hinduism, Cristanity, Budhisim all are gret religion which teaches there is only one super power called god. So, why we are having so mnay confusions. Let us talk irrespective of religion, let us talk for construciton of better human resources for all people around the globe, let think for eradication of poverty globally, let us talk of good health services and so on. We need a true democracy - Freedom of expression, Freedom of right

It was indeed good that pak was separated otherwise india would hv to bear with all this nonsense with those illiterate people! 80-90% of Pak is still illiterate and under the heavy influence of the "Mullah-marijuana". the only pain is, they have still left back some cancerous tumors in Bhendi Bazar, Bhiwandi, Aligarh, Malegaon and so on.

Simple. Here is how:

A million other jokers with zilch knowledge of Sur, Taal, knowledge of Music vote for them via SMS. The cell phone service providers become richer. Judges are reduced to mere props - who get paid to make an appearence. Audience who pay to visit the studios, sit inside, clap and whistle.

Some joker will win the SMS contest and get crowned.

The whole process is pretty much similar to how our CMs, PMs, MLAs, MPs, Ministers are selected.

See, this is what is called: "Democracy"

yes thats true,

we are responsible along with Jinnah. Also the riots during partition were started off by our people.

so they must face the wrath of the sins committed by them.

Oh god, even though I am a muslim, I have now started believing in karma

Sorry Nasir ,I dont know who started that ,but one thing is sure Pak's went astray. Its the Allahs curse on them that they could not set an example of islamic state ,state with no interest, complete hijab, no tax , no democracy ,only islamic shariya... sorry they will always remain like that since given a chance they failed to create an example and now they are matter of laugh.

Sad but true...

It was the British, actually who did it.

But at that time, some spineless, short-sighted politicians did not have enough foresight and allowed it to happen. And thus were drawn the lines in the minds of people.

6 decades, we are still paying the price for it and I guess will continue to do so...

Nehru was responsible.istigated jinaa. There was a commom agenda that they will treat Pak as separate entity, but there will be common central govt, which will be reviewed after every ten years. But Nehru denied as said that who has seen what happens after ten years.this raises dsoubt in the mind of jinna and entire process was stopped.

Dear Mr.SLVP, I expressed my views on this issue. I find it really amusing that it evoked laughter in you (by your LOL expression!).

Now can we hear your side of the story? If you do not agree with that logic, what is your opinion? How do you perceive and view the whole situation?

Please just don't get amused. Express Yourself!!

PPP and PML-N alliance
by Common Man on Mar 10, 2008 02:34 PM  Permalink

The alliance between PPP and PML-N is at best imagined to be like BJP and Congress(I) coming together and sharing the power to run the country.

Do you think such an alliance will function smoothly?

Reminds me of Ronald Regan's famous statement:
"Politics is like the 2nd oldest profession in the World. Because, a lot of times, it resembles the oldest profession"

Yes their political manifestos are that diametrically different.

It is a known fact that Bhutto and Sharief cannot stand each other and see eye-to-eye.

But when needed, they are now ready to embrace each other - Gaon to basa nahi, aur lootere haajir....

LIFE IN PAKISTAN / DEMOCRACY
by Mirza Basalath Ali Baig on Mar 10, 2008 02:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF PAK PRESIDENTS / PRIME MINISTERS / POLITICAL LEADERS FOR THE PRESENT SITUATION IN PAK.

PAK PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE BECOZ THEY WISH SUCH PEOPLE TO BE THEIR RULERS.

ALSO POOR PAK LEADERS ARE NOT DEDICATED TO THEIR COUNTRY BECOZ THEY ARE INTERESTED IN ONLY POWER.EVENTS IN THE PAST SHOWS YOU THE FACTS.

WESTERN COUNTRIES LIKE US AND UK TRIED TO BRING STABILITY IN THIS REGION BUT FAILED.THIS WAS BECOZ OF DIFFERENTIATION AMONG PEOPLE OF PAK.

I REQUEST EACK PAK PEOPLE TO REALISE THE MISTAKES COMMITTTED IN THE PAST AND BE UNITED TO RESTORE DEMOCRACY IN THE REGION WITH THE HELP OF THEIR DEDICATED LEADERS.

MAY I WISH THEM ALL THE BEST

WELLWISHER OF HUMAN KIND

The only thing I fail to understand is, why the hell most of the muslims(I'm deliberately not saying all because there have been patriot martyrs like Lt.Abdul Hameed who sacrified his life in 1965 war for India) but most of the muslims are a mislead and miserable lot who live hear and love Pakistan. Why??? It is hi-time they understand, that if an open plebiscite is held in Pak, over 90% would opt to go to India instead of living in that hell. Instead, they should try to set right the regressive social attitude they live with and forbid girls from learning etc.
