Why Musharraf fears the Sharif-Zardari coalition
by Nirpinder Singh on Mar 10, 2008 02:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I can't believe that I am reading messages with so much hatred. After all India and Pakistan share a common heritage. If we were to draw an analogy with Nations in Europe we know that they have been at war twice in the last century with a terrible cost to all concerned and yet today's generations live in peace for the most part. Why must we carry over the resentment of the past to our future?

Hamid Mir should learn about the legal requirements for caling the calling of the national Assembly before he starts his speculations. perhaps he shou;ld pay attention to the truth rather than let the figment of his imagination become a reality.

Joker among aces
by Pawan Hansoti on Mar 08, 2008 02:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is a joker (Bush) among the four aces in the game of cards being played in Pakistan. Who so ever has this joker will win in the end.

Not true any more because the joker can be used only once and Mush has already overused it. Anybody trying to use Joker now, will stand disqualified by the common people of Pakistan.

Says Who? It isn't Pakistan that is at war in Afghanistan it is the USa. It also seems that you believe some 2.5 million Afghans are refugees in India. get your head out of wherever you have put it.

Why Musharraf fears the Sharif-Zardari coalition
by Nirpinder Singh on Mar 08, 2008 07:48 AM  Permalink

I suppose that what is going on in Pakistan would be considered as normal Political wrangling. One guy had dethroned the other in 1999. Now the incumbent is concerned that the person he dethroned will return to power. Six of one half a dozen of the other.

Musi is taking a leaf out of Indian politics. He is doing what all Indian politicians do after an election - find cracks in the opposition, use muscle power, money power etc. to get to/remain in power. Dear Musi is an Indian fan.
