Fallacy Prevails the order of the day
by Surya Kanishka on Mar 07, 2008 03:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Franco,

This is the state of affairs of this country in whom you had ardent passion and liking. The Great Cultural Civilisation whom you have studied and understood is very different today.

Please realise that this is the country of the oppurtunists and back stabbers this the country the people who eat and shit at the same place. The goverments and oppositions a sham and filled with animals worst than jackals, hyenas and vultures.

I hope one day I stand by you in realising your ambition of spreading the truth and exposing the fallacies of our demonised sikular history.

To me in the whole world I only find the sickular zealots who blindly stoop to the level of fallcy.

where are we heading........
by adn on Mar 07, 2008 03:22 PM  Permalink

Off late, we can see any small groups holding the people/government/country to ransom.

Be it a book, film, painting and now exibition, we have these useless groups, which loves to gain maximum mileage, getting anything and everthing banned.

To make matters worse, government, political parties and police gives in to their demands for a fear of riots.

Its time they put their foot down and deal with such people ruthlessly, failing which we will see such bans in our daily lives.

This would mean that out Country is no more Democratic. We would be heading the Taliban way.

how do you define tolerance?
Is tolerance the act of giving in, every time the community objects to what you doing?
When will this objection stops, when they object to you going to the temple?

I guess that it goes to show that as a people we are intolerant. A nation can progress only when its citizens have the tolerance to withstand criticism the patience to listen to a divergent point of view and the wisdom to learn from historical mistakes.

If truth is bitter - why did some muslims tried to stop the exposition?
What do they want to hide?
Why is all historian now comming to the same conclusion on what happened during the muslim conquest of India? Indian, European, even some muslims.
No point to hide from the truth, with the information age- it is now accessible to everybody.
Read Naipaul book on his trip through the land of the converts. He explain very well the reasons why converts have no alternative but to pledge alliance to the religion, but not to the land and its history. Its a shame.

I am no fanatic, but lets be objective, Aurangazeb was a crazed, fanatic, cruel and barbaric but at the same time strangely honest and scruplous in his financial dealings. He realized the illusory nature of his beliefs only at his deathbed. Same as Mother Teresa who cried out in anguish about the illusory nature of her equally fanatical beliefs, though personally she was honest person.

I do agree with this guy ..Aurangazeb's bad side he wanted all to be converted to Muslim he was not secular and he tried all methods to convert other religion people to Muslim but at the same time he was very ritual & honest.

He used to go for namaaz 5 times a day and he never used a single unit of money from the Govt fund for personal use,he claimed it to be people's money.

He lived in a simple 1 room house and used to knit caps for his living(personal use), unlike other Muslim rulers @ Delhi he was not a womanizer and never touched wine.

Unfortunately thats the most scary part, thats like a psychological justification of doign everything evil. You pray to god go to place of worship live meagerly and then kill/torture others for your belief.
I would have rather preferred him being a drunkard, womanizer but friendly and helpful to all people.
If you dont hurt others and make others happy you are good else you are bad no matter how much you fast or pray.

An emperor really ? and Shivaji challenged his might with few men and dared him.

This person was the worse known ruler in history, worst to commit atrocities on others (Hindus) and had absolute no regards for anyone except himself.

He used religion in a way that suited him, killed all his brothers annexed the throne. Finally died a sorrow death in Maharashtra when he was trying to finish off the Maratha empire.

Hardly can Aurangzeb be called a great ruler.

All Mughals were not alike
by Mister India on Mar 07, 2008 03:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Friend

Your knowledge on Mughals is limited.

Each king was a different character.

1. Akbar married a rajput and most of his ministers were hindu.

2. Aurangzeb was fanatic to the extent he had killed his elder brother Dara and jailed his father Shahjahan for lifetime. (thus it cannot be concluded he was against hindu ideology).

3. Bahadur Shah Jafar (the last mughal emperor) initiated the freedom struggle of India along with Rani Laxmibai. He was imprisoned by British at the Rangoon jail for fighting against British. He died in the jail

Thus please do not divide ourselve on the basis of what Aurangzeb did.

Make peace

Even the text books written by our seculars were telling Aurangzeb introduced a tax on Hindus. He was the one who destroyed Kashi and Mathura. Is it friendly towards Hindu ideology? There are lot of things done by Mughal empire which are not recorded. Why do you think the hatred for Muslims come in India. If you compare the hatred between communities it is maximum between hindus and muslims. There will be some fights between hindus and christians but is is related to conversion.

there are so many instances in all the history books that Aurangzeb and his mughal forces invaded temples and all other hindu places of worship, especiaaly in Deccan platau which remained his unaccomplished dream.
Mughals ruled from aeas of todays Pakistan to Assam in the east but could not make a big headway in Deccan platau and down south - this was mainly due to chhatrapati shivaji and his clever alliances with nizam of bhaganagar (hyderabad) and kutub rulers of krnatak.

We were forced to read tampered history in shcools!
by vinay thakur on Mar 07, 2008 03:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After independence our so called secualrists & leftists distroted the known history of their time to stay in rule for long time! All craps about Mughals & Muslim invasion were taught to us under some conspiracy.
The same congress and allies were in the power then also. One interesting incident--
Few years back in one of the states of USA...state education board published some text books with gross errors like showing Shivaji as Muslim or other silly things which hurt hindu sentiments. These were mistakes and same for other religions and cultural groups also.Hence every community (Expats & immigrants) took the matter in court and later mistakes were corrected.
Hindu parents in that state also tried to do the same to get facts corrected. But our secularists from India had problems in tht too..they sent Romila Thapar(another leftist historian) to America and she requested authorities not to change the same as that would be considered communal back in India. She tried to convince the local court and authorities that this will send wrong signals to muslims living in india!
Can you beleive this stupidty!
We read our history textbooks written mostly by Romila Thapar and group!

REALLY STUPID OF CONGRESS to do this.
Congress believes Ram never existed and easily gets away with it in SECULAR INDIA. If the same thing was said abt the gods of minority there would've been huge hue and cry and street war.
