We muslims beleive in Loyalty that is the reason we are strongest in following our religion.(vis-a-vis other religions,while the max. no. of people from a religion in the world are Roman catholics.The max people FOLLOWING a religion are sunni muslims).The first thing that GOD has given us is the birth on this land that we are ready to sacrifice our life for just the way we have the capability to do it for our belief. So we cant betray our motherland cause that is first condition for loyalty. Please dont discriminate any Indian. Muslim or Christian. Bihari or Malyali. Unless we understand that we will be wasting time and peace of mind on petty things like this. We as a country are the most blessed with talent, wisdom and capability. May God give us this unity to be proud on India and Indians.

Yoko there are a very few who thiink otherwise. Majority are like this the sad part is that we dont have the time or inclination to understand each others. The root cause is education in muslims to communicate this or join forces to prove this, and a prejudice amongst rest about muslims.
Itsreally sad that we have roads in the name of a cruelman like aurengazeb in delhi and other name like akbar road etc. We are changing so many names of cities. Why cant e change these names.

It seems that for a change someone brought up the truth about what Aurangzeb was and that has hurt the minority sentiment. There are plenty of historical facts that go against the picture of Auranghzeb that has been built assiduously by the leftists who write the historytextbooks and probably the exhibition reveals those facts. Why should the people who are insisting that Aurangzeb must be depicted as Mughal records show him believe that other records are unknown to the comman man? In Maharashtra, every child knows the other side of Aurangzeb and that our forefathers fought against him and his several hundred thousand strong army till he died here. Were our forefathers lacking in intelligence to fight this 'great and benevolent ruler of world (Alamgir)? Obviously not. It would be interesting to know what the Mughal records say about the desecration of the Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Rohit there should be no question on Shri Ram's existence that is what Indian tradition teaches and Islam too. Lakum dina Kum wali ya din. You on your religion and me on mine. But dont encourage division by talking about someone who existed 300 years ago. This mentality is still keeping us behind than what we deserve.We are still facing the sad division againt now UP and Bihar people. Lets be Indians and raise much better and bigger issues for selection of people who rule us than who said what.

Aurangzeb did not just build an isolated mosque on a destroyed temple, he ordered all temples destroyed, among them the Kashi Vishwanath temple, one of the most sacred places of Hinduism, and had mosques built on a number of cleared temple sites. Other Hindu sacred places within his reach equally suffered destruction, with mosques built on them. A few examples: Krishna's birth temple in Mathura; the rebuilt Somnath temple on the coast of Gujarat; the Vishnu temple replaced with the Alamgir mosque now overlooking Benares; and the Treta-ka-Thakur temple in Ayodhya. The number of temples destroyed by Aurangzeb is counted in four, if not five figures. Aurangzeb did not stop at destroying temples, their users were also wiped out; even his own brother Dara Shikoh was executed for taking an interest in Hindu religion; Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded because he objected to Aurangzeb's forced conversions.
Let Hindus and Muslims then come to terms with what happened under Aurangzeb, because Muslims suffered as much as Hindus. It was not only Shah Jahan or Dara Shikoh who were murdered, but also the forefathers of today's Indian Muslims who have been converted at 90 per cent. Aurangzeb was the Hitler, the asura of medieval India. No street is named after Hitler in the West, yet in New Delhi we have Aurangzeb Road, a constant reminder of the horrors Aurangzeb perpetrated against Indians, including his own people.
