When any historical facts about even Aurangazeb are exhibited, muslims want them halted? SO if they identify themselves with Aurangazeb in that way, they will continue to be seen as anti-Hindu and will have to face the animosity. How can they complain then about the Hindus? It is their own foolish and stupid action that will have caused it.
Why were only Hindu leaders detained ? Why was the "Prince" of Arcot not deported back to Mecca ? Why is that the Rediff used he phrase "Muslim oprganizations", but the phrase "Hindu outfits" ? Rediff is very mischievous and cheap.

Actually there is a mention of Muslim outfits in the 1st para. but I agree, the language used by the so-called journalist or author of this piece is not only insulting but vague and imprecise. The actual issue of the controversy is vague and open to debate. But aren't most of our journalists as vague and poor at their jobs? Articles are chosen through recommendation I presume, or half of the writing one sees on Radiff would be trashed by a good editor. As usual it's the money that talks. For a democratic country we are extremely intollerant of any issues to be discussed and sorted out. We prefer to shout and push everything under the proverbial carpet thinking that he who can impose himself on others is the winner. Instead we all lose out as we have lost another occasion to know more about the past and learn a little of the history that belongs to this nation and EVERYONE in it regardless of their religion, caste or class. Muslims instead of becoming sensitive should learn from history, most were forcibly converted to avoid death, why not accept it. Time and history cannot be challenged nor changed.
Aurangzeb was cruel and ruthless. This man from Arcot who calls himself "Prince" in this democratic age is trying to defend a cruel and ruthless man.he is trying to depict Aurangzeb as a philanthropist.Which flies against the facts. Aurungzeb always looted and destroyed Hindu temples where ever he went. One of the examples of his hatred can be seen at Gwalior fort in Madhya Pradesh. Aurangzeb's army damaged each and every statue on the fort. They cut of the noses, hands, legs ears, private parts of each and every statue on the fort.Imagine the time and effort put in to damage the stone statues which number in thousands. It must have taken a year to do it.They could have completely destroyed the statues. But they deliberately chose to partially damage them so that the hindus can see them for all times to come and seethe with anger for centuries. And this man from Arcot is trying to portray a cruel man as a philanthrophist, and the Government believes him.

What else could you expect from an inhuman being who put his father in prison, killed his brothers, for the sake of a throne?

Why is he still called aprince? Why has he not been send to pakistan or Arabia or Irak or Afghanistan? How did his ancestors get the title Prince of Arcot? Was it through war and plunder or through peace?
