if kafirs [ us peace and truth loving non jew christian muslims ] will not fight for truth, judeo christianity islam will destroy the world and its culture to be replaced by their fake hate based culture.

judeo christianity islam says : i am better than u,bcoz my imaginary god is better than u,
without giving any proof, and when u scientifically read all the torash/bible/koran u will see these r just man created books full of errors, like other books.

so judeo christianity islam is just fairy tale.

al ham dull ill aahhh [ from an ex-muslim now non muslim ]

Why Stopped???????????
by Dr. Vinay Gupta on Mar 07, 2008 02:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When it was just showing light to life of Aurangjeb why ban?? in name of 'might disturb peace'. Very funny :)

We should strongly condemn stopping this exhibition. I invite organisers to Indore for such exhibition, it is not a mediocore, pleasing and backward city like chennai.

MF Hussain painting Nude Hindu godess was freedom of expression!!
Taslima Nasreen writing about the plight of women in Islam is peace distrubing.
Such exhibitions showing real India history is disturbing peace!
I think we must have national debate between so called secualrs vs. rationals on these points..face to face on Some TV channels!

What are they trying to hide?
by snpost on Mar 07, 2008 02:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why was the exhibition stopped?

The Exposition was set up by historian of India, so why has some muslims tried to stop this exposition?

Knowing wh0 Aurangzeb was is really important to all of us, if we stopped historian from explaining the past to us- this will create more mistrust among communities.

let us be informed and let Hindus and Muslims then come to terms with what happened under
Aurangzeb.

Was Aurangzeb the Indian version of Hitler? How many Indian died under his rules? What did he create? What did he destroy? Why did Hinduism came back militant specially in the North when the North was ruled for a 1000 years by muslim.
How were the Indian muslim converted from hinduism? How did North Indian remain Hindu majority after 1000 years of onslaught?
There are so many questions and so few answers -Let the historian do there job and let them informed us on our past.

Then we can actually put the past behind, if we know what realy happened during the islamic invasion of India.

Hiding the truth whatever that is- is bad for India, it will come back to bite us, when we least expect it.

Islam is the most secular religion. Islam declared brotherhood amongst its followers. Quarn clearly states that there is no compulsion in religion. The message of Quran is totally in line with the scientific facts discovered in these last 50 years. Please read the translation of the Quran -- it is a mercy for all mankind. If you read it with an open mind, u will definitely come to realise that it is a Divine message. But please do not judge any religion by its followers. What happened in post Godhra riots? are these the teachings of Vedas or Ramayana or Mahabarat. No. but those who did it where very far from the teachings of their faith. And if anyone claims that Islam spread by sword, which muslim army conquered Indonesia (most populous muslim nation). none. it is the teachings of the Quran that have touched the lives of millions and are contniuing to inspire the people today in USA and the West who are entering the fold of Islam without any compulsion. It truly is a forward thinking inspired by forward thinking.

We are not debating islam here- my point is we need to know if a Hindu genocide happen during the muslim invasion of india.
If there was agenocide, then it should be teached as our history to both Hindus and muslims.
We need to teach the muslims that they are converts, and they are Indian.
If islam is so secular, what happened to the hindus in pakistan and Bangaldesh?
Can I go an build a temple nera mecca in saudi arabia.

Which historians you are talking about?Greatest of Historians and most authentic source for our secular friends in India is Romila Thapar(A converted Christian) who went to USA to convince the local authorities for not changing some mistakes in school textbooks which were hurting Hindu sentiments! The same mistake was done for other ethenic groups like chinese or Latins living in tht state and everyone got obejctionable parts about their history corrected.Except Hindu parents for whom congress sent esp. Romila Thapar to counter!

muslims-supporting foreign invadors - pity
by Raghav on Mar 07, 2008 02:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a pity that the indian muslims who were once hindus having converted to islam by force are supporting the invadors from turkey, iran, etc.

It is also pity that they have been infected with such fanatic thoughts wherein they do not accept history. Tomorrow they will compel the government to remove pages from the history those who fought against the muslim invadors.

This government is run by foreign lienient persons and u will find people also like that.

Muslims are becoming more and more intolerant and the government, police everyone supports.

In the exhibition incident, the policemen were breaking all the portraints like criminals, vandalised, arrested those who were visiting the exhibition.

This is the status of the nation.

beware of threats like this.

why are afraid of history ?
by Ashok and Anita on Mar 07, 2008 02:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Strange that we are afraid of the past. Any conqueror destroys even tries to destroy the soul of a country. The Mughals did destroy and no matter what anyone says it is a fact and thats that. Creation/destruction will always happen we are affected according to time period we happen to be in. Banning the exhibition is stupid as it shows how futile destruction can be. We can learn from it and must accept it. Cannot change history by banning just as we cannot deny destruction of the babri masjid.

Dear Friend

Your knowledge on Mughals is limited.

Each king was a different character.

1. Akbar married a rajput and most of his ministers were hindu.

2. Aurangzeb was fanatic to the extent he had killed his elder brother Dara and jailed his father Shahjahan for lifetime. (thus it cannot be concluded he was against hindu ideology).

3. Bahadur Shah Jafar (the last mughal emperor) initiated the freedom struggle of India along with Rani Laxmibai. He was imprisoned by British at the Rangoon jail for fighting against British.

Thus please do not divide ourselve on the basis of one Mughal emperor like Aurangzeb did.

Make peace
