I had worked in Gujarat and 90 percent of the cheap labour were from UP and Bihar . Not even 1 percent from Gujarat. So if they restrict these people to their own state, can Thackray or anybody else say , how requirement for cheap labour industries, especially construction, can be met. THey should not forget the contribution from these people in building up bombay or any north indian cities...... Can bombay survive without a single person from UP or Bihar or from any other state ???

A very bold statement by Vasant. One can easily foresee that Mumbai which is considered as one of the safest city so far will now no more remain so far. Thackery has simply invited biharis to fight with maharshtrian and if this continues there will be blood shed in mumbai. For poor bihar, now each and every maharashtrain is their enemy. Please do not motivate them to retaliate. We don't want Mubai to be unsafe. Thackery this is the cheapest way of getting publicity. We'll appreciate if you conduct some good operation and win elections
The real problem is un balanced regional development. No bihari or for that matter anybody wants to come and die in mumbai,if they are given a decent option to live in their neighborhood.
Mumbai developed not because of any thackeray but because of its proxmity to Harbour. It emerged as a fine metto not because of any so called nationalist politico, but because of its sea trade conveninece.
Had that happend in bihar, all those calling them quits would have gone to bihar for a livelihood.
Instead of mud sliniging, try finding out how we can have regional development in a balanced way

That first expressway between Mumbai and Pune is constructed by Thackeray.

Man watch out and think carefully before you type here. It is an offense under IPC to spread rumors. They can track down your IP address and can put you in jail for spreading rumors.
If u look at the toppers of premium colleges in DU..most of them will be Biharis....Candidates succeeding in IAS IPS exams are majorly from Bihar....Look at the top notch B-Schools in India...and you can easily find out the share bihari students enjoy...Moreover the famous captain of cricket team Dhoni is from Jharkhand which was earlier a part of bihar...so folks please get ur facts right before going bla bla bla every 5th IIT stud is a bihari...so go figure..all the coaches at FIITJEE batch 1 are biharis...the topper of VIDYAMANDIR CLASSES is a bihari..so go figure,now

Then why these so called IAS/IPS officers go to Bihar and work there for the progress of the bihar ? I bet no body will go there....as they dont want to spoil their next generation...hence they will either settle in Delhi or Mumbai....or Gurgaon

excellent...why is bihar a rotten place then? BT/RT might not be doing any good to bombay, but there is one fact, that people from UP/Bihar have created lawlessness, indiscipline, unhygienic conditions and a lot of other problems in Mumbai. Everyone is entitled to live anywhere in india, but people from these two states really annihilitate simple, clean, happy, disciplined civil society. Bihari's / UPites all over the world should do something to improve their states, and very importantly elect good governments. If there is education and good governance, those states will be better than what they are now and people migrating to other states will also be able to be adjust and be acceptable to others.
