I wonder where were you all who are writing against Thackerays when UP/Bihar's MPs where shouting againist Maharashrians and questioning maharashtrian's nationalism? Media/you guys were no even talking about it. You mention just one leader/politician who is take Maharashtrian's side at national level? MPs from different parties unite for the cause of their State. Is not anti-national? MPs from Maharashtra don't come together. Thats excatly why Maharashtrain support Thackerays. In the past Maratha army were not welcomed by other part of India and Maharashtrians knows the fact. Solution is to move few labor intensive Industries to UP and Bihar and qq is are Industries are willing to do that? even they don't want Bihar?

Dude! It's not marathi versus rest of india. It's UP-Bihar versus rest of india. Now even punjus hv started worrying abt the bihari influx.
Look it is normal tendency of human that they can't stay with out fighting . See from Ramayana to Mahabharata even during Rome ,Mohammad Pegamber. Thanks to Mahatma Gandhi . They make minority to stay in India. Till now India is united though having vast diversity because of this minority. If majority want to remove their frustration they do it on minority. See when we have Match against neighbor country we won't take maharastrian flag or gujrat flag we won't say let Doni should get ot on zero run while sachin has to make 100 run. we pray for india. As we have some enemy in field. So don't wor y what will hapen now as all CAR manufacturing company moving towards chinnai, s/w to middle south like banglor , Hydrabad all big multinational company opening their office in mumbai, most of the development job is going to gujrat, after 10-15 year we will all mixed up and then only we have only common enemy, that is our neighbor country so be cheers. Also after 10- 15 years we will have new generation so they will give already mixed up as Gujarati boy born in Karnataka so he will have many kartatakian friend than Gujrati and vies versa

we north indians have been blackmailed on language/religion that we don't impose. Called Bimaru when we sheild from foreigners. NO more blackmail.
spindoc, who care for land and place. there is plenty in africa, andaman. there is so much everywhere.
Once we take a spin in other direction, all the so called "progress" will be overtaken by enemies of India. all the progress centers of india will be somalia, mogadishu because they look like them. It is the North that gave security for free and got the blackmail in return.

There are a LOT of marathis and punjabis in the army striving for security of everyone. Marathis r doing their duty towards the country. Maybe those states that do not participate in army..like gujjus..should take up the surplus biharis!
I am not from Bihar or Maharashtra but in the name of national integration this is the time to remember their contributions.
Bihar may be in a bad position now but it is the birthplace of greatness. Whether as the land of great ancient universities or of Bodhgaya or of the great Rajendra Prasad, Bihar has been a well-spring of culture that India should be proud of. I personally think Biharis are extremely intelligent people who have been ruined by their politicians.
Maharashtra has a great tradition of knowledge, culture, and liberalism too. Who in India doesnt love and respect Shivaji or Namdev or Tilak and many other icons. Maharashtra was one of the protectors of Hinduism and Indian nationalism.
Let us not forget all this in a moment's anger or due to the excesses of a wily politician.

After reading teh news 'a commander shot dead in Bihar jail' I am beginning to seriously believe that avarage Bihari unlike average Indian has a criminal core at the centre of his/her personality that is bereft of any sense of morality or higher values.. from top to bottom it is all teh same. Not a single day goes by when bihar doesnt stop surprising us.. Soemtimes I feel the situation in Bihar is even worse than some African and Latin American countries ... Shame on those who represent Biharis and identify with Bihari culture.
