This joke is actually being played out in Mumbai sadly.

There is only one tactical principle which is not subject to change. It is to use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wound, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time.
-Gen Patton.

no state will have an issue if the migrant learn the language nd culture
by VS on Mar 06, 2008 02:42 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

of the state he is making his home...
nobody likes to hear alien language nd see diifrnt rituals performed on his land which is already rich in his own culture nd tradition...
even wen a person migrates to some foreign country he has to behave in a manner as the local of tht place does...
he has ro speak english or the native language of tht place...
thn y nt in india...
wen each state has rich culture nd has thier own languages thn y migrating community speaks in its own language....
this is unpardonable

Don't impose anything on anyone, that is the answer as always. Does not matter whether local or national.

More importantly why are you imposing Lalu/Mulayam on other states. Keep them - they are very valuable for Bihar/UP.

After reading teh news 'a commander shot dead in Bihar jail' I am beginning to seriously believe that avarage Bihari unlike average Indian has a criminal core at the centre of his/her personality that is bereft of any sense of morality or higher values.. from top to bottom it is all teh same. Not a single day goes by when bihar doesnt stop surprising us.. Soemtimes I feel the situation in Bihar is even worse than some African and Latin American countries ... Shame on those who represent Biharis and identify with Bihari culture.

Bihar and Maharashtra
by sri on Mar 06, 2008 02:32 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bihar may be in a bad position now but it is the birthplace of greatness. Whether as the land of great ancient universities or of Bodhgaya or of the great Rajendra Prasad, Bihar has been a well-spring of culture that India should be proud of. I personally think Biharis are extremely intelligent people who have been ruined by their politicians.

Maharashtra has a great tradition of knowledge, culture, and liberalism too. Who in India doesnt love and respect Shivaji or Namdev or Tilak and many other icons. Maharashtra was one of the protectors of Hinduism and Indian nationalism.

Let us not forget all this in a moment's anger or due to the excesses of a wily politician.

"personally think Biharis are extremely intelligent people who have been ruined by their politicians."

Hmmm.... I think Bihar has been ruined by her own people.

Don't blame politicians all the time - take some responsibility yourself. Don't play the game of "if something good happens it is because of the people - if something bad happens it is because of the politician". Rest of India and esp Maharashtra is tired of those excuses.

Instead of propering unitedly in growing India, some psychopaths are fighting for some silly issues on regionalism. These ppl should be kept in zoos or museums. Captions should be written as "Zamana badal gaya, pay yeh log nahi badle" or "Stone-age men in modern era".
