The state of Bihar as per the book is true picture of the Bihar's own people. There politicain are least concerned about their own people.

I would bet my last single rupee given a choice people in the war torn areas of Iraq would be gleefelu if they were moved to Bihar as refugees!

Please tell me why a suicide attack should happen in bihar when the govt. is for criminals and indirectly the criminals are ruling the state?
Good one!!!!! and rightly said. imagine if terrorist, abducts some one, or kills some one, then later he will get a news that xyz from his family is murdered.

Agree. I read some time back that they try to stop work for 4 lane highway which passes thru Bihar because then it will be difficult to stop trucks for dacoits. Current highway is full of potholes & only two lanes with no fences so it is easy to put barricade in night & when truck stops they will loot it easily.

truth is always bitter, After reading teh news 'a commander shot dead in Bihar jail' and this article above I am beginning to seriously believe that avarage Bihari unlike average Indian has a criminal core at the centre of his/her personality that is bereft of any sense of morality or higher values.. from top to bottom it is all teh same. Not a single day goes by when bihar doesnt stop surprising us.. Soemtimes I feel the situation in Bihar is even worse than some African and Latin American countries ... Shame on those who represent Biharis and identify with Bihari culture

One should take a lesson from Bihar. No dont get shocked !! It is a state where you realize that if state administration and police is politized and govt is for criminals and mafia and people are divided on 'reasons' based on 'feudal tradition' what can happen. Note that no state in India is free from all the above 3 maladies to some extent. So we know what to stop when we see it taking ground.
The caste system is killing UP and Bihar. UP and Bihar are the most castiest states in India and hence their pathetic status. But the castiest elite in these states will continue to deny this fact and keep on living in a world of imaginary, self-declared greatness (which nobody else agrees with). These castiest elite in UP and Bihar are on track to become the new dalits of India. The caste system is on track in killing UP and Bihar. UP and Biharis should stop wasting time on China and Pakistan and instead focus on eliminting the caste system before it eliminates their states.

It is not the only factor. It has only split the state people. That is present in other states "BiMaRU states and TN" but the rest of the states have progressed. There are many other factors which combine with this and the problem compounds.

though caste feeling is more pronounced in UP and Bihar but it exists in whole of India thats why we have still reservation system policy running for 60 years. this reservation policy is encouraging the divide between different caste communities. if this policy had been closed after 10 years as originally wrtten in constitution, we would have seen less caste devisions feelings.
