chinese incursions
by mvk viswanadham nadam on Mar 04, 2008 07:51 PM  Permalink

1962 memories are still haunting India. India does not trust China. China has expansionist views always. They have boarder disputes with every nation that surround China. They want to erase their Vietnam memories by capturing Indian territory. They already had occupied large part of India. Their eyes are now on Tibet forgetting Sikkim. They have swallowed Tibet. They are not making incursions into Chinese territory because they are afraid of China. Modern China has not learnt any lessons from the history and they have claims everywhere. They do not return the occupied land of India but making further claims on our territory. It is really very said. India is showing its back on chinese incursions and we do not know why?

China knows where GOLD is !!!!
by The Goal on Mar 04, 2008 07:49 PM  Permalink

China is fighting frantically to the world for TIBET occupation, which also is having tremendous natural resources, as is the case with Arunachal. With 30% capacity to provide power to India, possibly Hydro, it seems from talk, we have very very short sighted persons in our Loksabha. It will be an shame of our generation, if we cant do any thing.

Whole Arunachal is India's Integral Part

Thanks Mr. Rijiju for your continuous efforts. We need to act now on this issue. Its seems that the governments are repeating the blunders made by Pandit Nehru on China. Its now or never.

You are right
by lobsang sherap on Mar 04, 2008 07:38 PM  Permalink

Dear Kiren,

What you have said in the interview is perfectly right. India ia over cautious when dealing with China, sometimes in denial mood about what is happenning at Arunachal Border. I heard Indian Foriegn Minister saying Arunachal problem is a perception problem. He is not ready to acknowledge it is a real thorny problem.China is claiming a part of India to be theirs. How can any Indian Government or people be just mute to such demands. It is high time we act tough with China. It is time we play Tibet card. I am sure we don't want war with China but China continues to strengthen its war insfrasture at border.India is still not out of 1962 shock and china know it. They exploit it well. See when Dalai lama returned to India after US Gold medel .....what was Government of India's reaction. It was very unbecoming and sad episode.Shame on Indian Government but if we do not act fast and strongly on Arunachal border.......India will remain under fear for long time to come. China is known for making strategy for a millinia. Love you Kiren for coming straight on Arunachal.

Do something fast !
by Robert Miranda on Mar 04, 2008 06:50 PM  Permalink

Kudos to our Honourable M.P Kiren Rijiju for raising such a serious matter and keeping up the ante in parliament.
The interest and issues of the people of Arunachal state should be addressed, cultivated and brought into the Indian mainstream.
We do not hear anything in the media about Arunachal Pradesh and the development activities taking place there.
We cannot ignore such a sensitive state and issues. ISD calls having chinese codes is mind-boggling and ridiculous. BSNL boss must be sacked and the telecom minister asked to resign.
They are so busy with spectrum issues!

Kiren is a real patriotic MP. He has raised this issue time and again but to no avail. The govt as well as the army has given a muted response. Even the BJP which claims to be a party o Nationalists did not do anything when they were in power and are not giving this issue the owrth it deserves. What the Indian leadership lacks is will and courage. They should remember what Mahatma gandhi had said

"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
~Mahatma Gandhi"

We need a proactive policy for the whole of NE India. Even Bagladesh and Myanmar are creating problems.

Salute to Kiren Rijju
by Mahan Bharat on Mar 04, 2008 06:38 PM  Permalink

Good Kiren, at least there is one leader who has guts reveal facts. Rest all politicians are creating issues on
- languages
- migration
- caste
- reservation in iit, iim and medical
- corruption

it had been always seen when you have fights in your house it is always benefit for neighbours. these politician leaders are earning in tones by doing corruption. we should reduce political leaders heirarchies. we need younger generation to come into politics and change the system. these old man political leaders dont have guts do anything. instead of working in BPO, level 1, level 2, testing jobs and accountancy jobs. we younger generation should joined politics now. otherwise things will from our hand and it will be too late. it will take another 300 years to take a independence from chineese. atleast lets be part of some good parallel intiatives and change this government system. what you'll say?
