Every problem is having a solution and the subject issue is pending for last 50 years without a solution. It is a matter of regret to note that the problem is mainly because of Congress Leaders at centre and at the state. There were deaths of student community during 1969 agitation. Students lost their one year education. All the time they try to prove that it is an internal problem of congress and the problem is arising out disgruntled members of the party, which is not. Atleast a good sense should prevail and steps should be taken to form TELENGANA STATE to save further disturbance and bloodshed.- Devaraju
Nehruvian concept of linguistic division of states of India has failed proving that language can not be the binding factor to keep people of a given state together.'United we win divided we lose' is essence of history of our country and inspite of British Rule for more than a century, we have not learnt lessons where as vested political and real estate lobbies continue to play havoc for selgain on peace loving citizens of Andhra Pradesh. What common public expect is fair administration of the state to provide food,clothing and sheltor at a reasonable cost and equitable distribution. It does not matter for common public whether the state is united or divided so long as their basic and minimum needs are not met with. Right now there is no guarantee given by any politician spearheading separate Telangana that these basic needs of people are guaranteed.

You are probably right but division means duplication of administration system of the people running it and as it is money never goes to the people's needs only to pay the bureaucrats, imagine thsi being doubled! How much benefit will actually go to the people themselves and how much to the policitians and office bearers?
I can foresee that in another 50 years of time India will have been divided into numerous small states as it was a long time ago with samastans, raj etc. We talk of unity but with these narrow minds we would again be vulnerable against foreign powers.History will repeat.Looking for another Mahathma Gandhi!!

Telangana is not small. It is bigger than 18states in India. It will have 17loksabha seats(more than Punjab, Haryana). Its self sustainable. It used to be seperate state(called Hyderabad state then). Its genuine case. It has better case than any of the states recently formed(read Uttarakand, Jharkand, Chattisgarh).
Telangana guys are roughs and arrogant brats. They can't compete with Andhra guys in education and end-up losers. Originated from same school, telangana students end-up unemployed and turn criminals whereas the andhra students will make to big jobs. Telangana guys are jealous and are using separate telangana as an intimidation tactic.

Telanganites can compete alright if there is no descrimination. They are doing alright outside AP. You are the kind of persons who breeds bad feeling between Telanganites and Andhrites. Here we are talking about descrimination of AP rulers. You are talking bad about whole community. If 2 brothers grew up in the same house with almost same genetic material can think and act differently, how can you generalize about whole community.

Telangana issue came out of the people's heart....
Hyderabad is an America for Andhraites...? Many people benefited in Hyderabad. If Separate Telangana is created ...don't worry Telanganites won't kick Andhra people....it is just a separate state with good administrators like PV Narasimha Rao....
Telengana issue is created only for political reasons. Telengana receives major resourses compared to Andhra and except fo three or four Andhra districts telengana is much developed. Most of the development in Hyderabad is initiated and done by Hard working and peace loving Andhraites, had Vizag been capital of Andhra it would have been top four cities by now.
Telengana state can never be given with Hyderabad, after 50 years of hard work put by Andhrites in developing the capital.

Yes...state was formed..based on the language..but atleast the way Telagana people speak telugu was not respected..
Here is example of descrimimnation of AP rulers towards Telangana.
Due to the merger of Telangana and Andhra in 1956, By changing the design of Nagarjuna sagar project, Krishna, Guntur, West godavari district formers recieved canal water for addtional 15 lakh acres illegally at the expense of farmers of Telangana.
Each acre of land with irrigation water will bring additional 10,000 rupees/crop of income to the farmer at least(with today' prices). If we have 2 crops per year; this mean 20,000/year/ acre. 15lakh acres bring 3000 crores/year. More than 1 lakh-crores since formation of AP (n today's rupees).
More money to Andhra farmers means .. 1) better education for their kids(including money to pay for tutorials, private schools), 2)if their kids are not good students they could get admission into privatge colleges. 3)In government jobs, they could compete better because of better education received; if they are not so good to compete, they can always get recommendation from their friends/relatives in beaurocracy/ politicians( More than 90% for senior beaurocracy is from andhra anyway); if they don't have any friends/realtives in beaurocracy, they can always bribe them(they can afford to pay big bribes because they are rich). This explains why 90% of employees in Secreatariate are from Andhra even today even though literacy levels of Telangana and Andhra are at the same level.

Here I am talking about one project. Imagine, economic impact of neglect other Telangana projects like Pranahitha, Srisailm left bank canal, Icchampally, and so many other major/minor irrigation projects; neglect of tanks; etc in Telangana.
This neglect affects all communites in Telangana directly or indirectly.
Only soltion to stop furthur exploitation is formation of seperate Telangana state.

I am not saying there are no poor in Andhra. I am saying they are better off compared to Telangana. You being from Andhra, probably seen only Hyderbad. You have not seen the poverty in Telangana rural areas. You have to agree that Telangana is backward because of the AP policies. If Ananthpur or Srikakulam is backward I can understand that there are no major rivers near by. etc. Can you explain why Mahaboobnagar with fertile balck soils with Krisha river flowing next to it is backward. can you explain why nalgonda suffers with florine water with Krishna river flows thru it? Can you explain why srisailam right back canal which irrigates Kurnool completed in 1980s but left bank canal which will irrigate mahboobnagar is still pending even now after it has all clearances.
Go read any reliable sources to find out the truth about changes to Nagarjuna sagar project so that Andhra districts will benefit.
What is the problem with Hyderbad? Everybody can still come to Hyderabad(its still be part of India). Every Indian has constitutional right to migrate to anywhere in India including hyderabad and Telangana. Just like Andhra people now goes to Bangalore/Bombay for jobs/busninesses , they can also goto Hyderabad even after the formation of Telangana. You can have another capital city near to Andhra districts. When India develops into industrial economy, it needs many more cities like Hyderbad.
